Is he… is he HOLDING THAT SAME BIRD!!??? Wow… it must be some important animal… a transitory bird, showing his inability to fully go over to the dark side…. or showing how far off he is in terms of evilness. Methings this scene with the bird will be interesting. *rubs hands together gleefully*

We found out why he has the bird! It’s a big part of the plot and does illustrate his sensitive side.
It was a theory on some other site and it was confirmed by someone who has seen the movie.
It’s kind of a spoiler since it is so important and also different from the book, so message me on the forum if anyone wants to know about it.
