Comic Cons Anyone?

It has been announced that Tom will be attending not 1, not 2, but 3 upcoming Comic Con’s.

This weekend Tom is confirmed to appear at the Wizard World Convention in Chicago on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets for the “Tom Felton VIP Experience” are still available and can be purchased here.

Also announced, but not yet confirmed are appearances at New York Comic Con from October 11th to the 14th as well as Dallas Comic Con’s “Fan Days” taking place October 19th to the 21st.

New York tickets can be purchased here

Dallas tickets can be purchased here

As with all of Tom’s appearances, there is always the chance of cancellation due to filming or personal commitments. Keep this in mind when making your travel plans.

  1. That’s just the VIP experience. You can buy everything separately for cheaper.

  2. I don’t want to buy anything at all, primarily because I believe people should work for the money. Tom is always strapped for cash so I see these convention expeditions as pure fleecing of naive young women who probably have better things to do with their money in the current economy.

  3. I’m going on Saturday in Chicago!

I can’t believe anyone would think that talking and being nice to complete strangers, signing a ton of autographs and posing for pictures all day every day for 3 days isn’t work. Not to mention this is time he could be auditioning for future work, I see nothing wrong with charging. Some stars charge a lot more.

I’m glad I get to see him in Chicago, but I can’t help but be bummed I haven’t heard anything about him going to DragonCon.

  4. Hey! I’m going to the Chicago Comic Con! I’m so excited to meet Tom! I’ve purchased a ticket to have my picture taken with him! Wheeeeee!!! I’m going to cry I’m so excited! Does anyone know if he will autograph?!?! 🙂

  5. Autographs for Chicago are $40 each, and he can sign your photo, the promotional photos they provide, or something else of your choosing.

  6. That is the biggest BS I’ve ever heard of… You ACTUALLY thought it was going to be free?! Now that is funny… And what “naïve young women” do with their money is their prerogative, honey, so gtfo with that faux feminist spew…
