Join Feltbeats.com’s 25th Birthday Project For Tom Felton

In honor of Tom’s big 25th Birthday, we wanted to present him with something extra special, and here’s how you get involved:

Send us any piece of fabric that you like.

It can be a piece from an old shirt that you love, a pattern that you like, you can send a white piece that you have drawn on or painted, anything you want. Be creative!
The piece must be at least 5 inches x 5 inches, and no bigger than 8 inches x 8 inches. If you send us something bigger than that, we will be cutting it down, so keep that in mind if your piece of fabric has a design or artwork on it.
Please include your name, twitter name (if you have one) and a short (1 or 2 sentences) message for Tom.
Send your fabric swatch and the info above to:
Betsy Graham
135 Golden Road
Rincon, GA 31326
The deadline for sending fabric is August 26th!  That gives you a little over three weeks. We must receive your swatch of fabric before this date for you to be included. Please make sure you leave ample time for mailing. We will notify you through twitter or email (your choice) when your package is received through the @Feltforce account.
What may you ask are we doing with the fabric pieces? We are making Tom a quilt that’s a reminder of just how much his fans love him! We will be sending along a detailed planogram of which piece came from whom, along with your individual message for Tom. Make it fresh, make it funky, but most of all, Have Fun!!!!

    • No, sorry that wasn’t clear. Add your name, and birthday message on a piece of paper separately. They will be compiled and sent with the quilt.

  1. You can put whatever you would like on the fabric. We are going to have a seperate diagram that details where each persons piece is on the quilt, as well as their twitter name and message.

  2. It may have to have extra postage to come International to the USA, but I’m not sure. You should be able to call your postal service and find out though.

  3. I’ll definitely get right on this! How do you girls come up with these great ideas?

BTW, I’m going to see Tom at Comic-Con in Chicago! I was bummed I hadn’t heard anything about him going to DragonCon this year, but when Feltbeats announced he’d be at Comic-Con I started planning. Thanks so much for that info! I’ll only be there for one day, the 11th, but I’ll still be able to get an autograph, see a panel and have a photo-op. I’m also going to meet a LJ friend/Tom Fan there for the first time. Are any Feltbeats people going to be there?

  4. Um. Yeah. I forgot to put my name on that…

  5. please notify me through twitter when you receive mine! It’s coming from Texas so it shouldn’t take long. I’ll be sending it out tomorrow! 🙂

  6. Damn! I’ve been so wrapped up in DragonCon stuff that it completely slipped my mind! I had the fabric and everything I just never wrote down my message or mailed it. 🙁 Oh well. Completely my fault. I really need to start checking twitter and feltbeats everyday again like I used to. Dang RL stuff! lol
