PR Newswire announced today that Tom Felton’s upcoming film Clavius (we reported here – Tom plays Lucius) will be released on Friday, January 22, 2016.
The title of the movie has been changed to Risen !
Sony Pictures Entertainment’s TriStar Pictures in association with AFFIRM Films announced that they have acquired worldwide rights from LD Entertainment on the film “Risen” (formerly titled “Clavius”) and will release the film in association with LD Entertainment. Starring Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love), Tom Felton (Harry Potter), Peter Firth (“Spooks”) and Cliff Curtis (Live Free or Die Hard), and directed by Kevin Reynolds (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves), the action drama will be released in theaters nationwide on Friday, January 22, 2016.
“Risen” is the epic Biblical story of the Resurrection and the weeks that followed, as seen through the eyes of an unbelieving Clavius (Joseph Fiennes), a high-ranking Roman Military Tribune. Clavius and his aide Lucius (Tom Felton) are instructed by Pontius Pilate to ensure Jesus’ radical followers don’t steal his body and claim resurrection. When the body goes missing within days, Clavius sets out on a mission to locate the missing body in order to disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.
“Risen” is produced by Mickey Liddell (The Grey), Patrick Aiello (As Above, So Below), and Pete Shilaimon (In Secret), and executive produced by Robert Huberman and Scott Holroyd.

That are good news that I know, that the risen comes on the next year, in January. I will sea the film. It is very good, that you will Lucius in Harry Potter. Lucius is really evil, Draco not, he changes and will that his son is more friendly than Draco as, he was a boy. His wife Astoria and Dracos parents don`t understand good, Dracos parents are not tolerant about Muggle, but Draco, Astoria and Scorpius are tolerant about Muggle. Dracos hobbys are: dark arts, but doesn`t use it and does not do someone with it. And he studies Alchemy, that is more than to be rich, perhaps to be a better person. We can hope. As he was a boy, he was a rud boy, but he changes, as he knows Voldemort. He was a death eater, but only for a short time. He did not kill Dumpledore and Draco is one of the biggest defected death eaters, like Regulus Black and Snape. Kakaroff and Lucius only runs away.
