The Russian sites “Afisha“, “kino.mail“, “kino-teatr” and others have published the first movie stills of Tom Felton’s upcoming film “Altered” (former and working title was “Project Darwin”), which he shot in Astana, Kazakhstan, in November / December 2023.
They also write that the film will be released in the cinemas on 18th September 2025. Unfortunately, this date is only for Russia for now.
We hope other countries will follow soon.
Plot:
After a global catastrophe, the world has taken a wrong turn. Genetically enhanced humans live in luxury, while the rest live in poor neighborhoods. Leon (Tom Felton), a disabled man and brilliant inventor, creates an exoskeleton to protect the weak and challenge those who took everything from him.
Today, the German version of the play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” announced Tom Felton as the guest of honor for the 10th anniversary of the Mehr! Theater am Großmarkt in Hamburg / Germany.
The Harry Potter play has been performed there since 5th December 2021. It was originally scheduled to premiere in 2020, but was postponed several times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
And that’s not all: Together with theater director Marcel Neitzel, Tom will hand over a donation check to “Aktion Mensch” (an organization that works daily for social projects for children and young people) on stage, shortly before the anniversary show of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” begins at 7 p.m.
