Tom Felton & Natalia Tena To Star in YouTube Sci-Fi Series ‘Origin’

Deadline reported today, that Tom Felton and Natalia Tena will star in the new YouTube sci-fi thriller series Origin.

The 10-episode series follows a group of strangers who find themselves stranded on a spacecraft bound for a distant planet. The abandoned passengers must work together for survival, but quickly realize that one of them is far from who they claim to be.

Tom will play Logan, the group’s chief antagonist. Logan is an angry young man, who is as much of a threat to himself, as he is to those around him.

Filming is currently underway in South Africa, with premiere slated for later this year exclusively on YouTube Red.

BTW, Natalia Tena will play Lana. – Resilient, tough and great in a crisis, Lana quickly becomes a kind of captain to the passengers of Origin.

YouTube Red is currently available in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Korea.

  1. Figured I’d take a long shot and see if you receive responses on this site (came across this when looking up your name). I work as a psychologist at a kid’s hospital in Kansas City, Missouri (USA), and saw a 13 year old patient today with a progressive degenerative condition that ultimately will result in death usually by late teens/early 20s ( Friedrich’s ataxia – really a bad disease where your mind stays normal but your body basically progressively wastes away). One of her dreams is to meet you, which understandably likely is impossible (unless you happen to be swinging by Kansas City for kicks anytime soon!), but if there is a way we could send something to her from you such as a signed message or card, I would greatly appreciate it! If that’s possible, please let me know how to go about doing so – my contact information is below. Thanks!

    • Hello Mark!
We are not Tom, we are his official fan site. We will forward your message to him, but we can’t promise anything.

      • Thank you! Just got your e-mail, much appreciated for forwarding the message along and for following up! Take care,
