Photos of Tom Felton at stage appearance in Tokyo, celebrating success of HBP

Earlier today, Tom Felton made a “stage appearance” at a screening of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” at the Marunouchi Picadilly Theater in Tokyo, Japan.

As part of the event, Tom greeted the crowd and answered questions. Additionally, Tom was asked to paint the second eye of a daruma doll, a traditional Japanese doll that brings good luck. To invite good fortune, one makes a wish and paints one eye of the doll. When the wish comes true, the other eye is painted. In this case, Tom painted the second eye to celebrate the success of “Half-Blood Prince.”

The bottom of the doll it reads, in Japanese, “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: Congratulations on the Blockbuster!

Here are some photos of the event. More can be seen in our Feltbeats page on Facebook!

Thanks to our friends at “Our Dearest Tom” for the pictures and information!
