The Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation’s goal is to assist nonprofit community organizations based on need. With the Foundation’s focus on the use of sports to promote education, teamwork and self-esteem among Los Angeles area youth, our fundraising directly supports these initiatives by providing financial assistance to children and local youth programs.
Finally, Tom’s movie From the Rough comes to the big screen on 25th April.
First, unfortunately, only in the United States.
The film will be released in 35 cities across the U.S., include Charlotte and Winston-Salem.
BUT, the team is already working on International release dates. 🙂
Reminder, the story is based on a true story. Dr. Catana Starks (main character in the story) will be a special honoree at Queens’ second annual “Royals Golf Outing“, a friendly competition and fundraiser for student-athletes hosted by the university’s athletics department, in Charlotte on 21st April. She also will be honored at a “From the Rough” launch party on April 21 from 8–10 p.m., at The Cowfish Sushi and Burger Bar, 4310 Sharon Road in Charlotte. (read the full article here and here)
It seems that the film will also shown at Rialto Theatre , The Villages / Florida.
If we know more cities, then we will let you know.
