Thanks to Lauren at DanRadcliffe.com we have a better video of Tom Felton and Daniel Radcliffe in the stands at yesterday’s cricket match. Unfortunately, I am out of country and not allowed to watch the video, let alone embed it, but I’ve heard it’s a much prettier, clearer version. You can catch it on YouTube by clicking here. (good luck!)
Thanks to Rotae we also have a partial transcript from Tom and Dan’s interview on TMS. It seems she was able to catch all the non-sports fanatic moments perfectly. 😉 Thanks, Rotae!
Aggers: Lots of people saying, Tom, I know you don’t like your hair very much, but apparently, you look very much like Stuart Broad.
DanRad: *loses it in hysterics* HA HA!!
Tom: Oh, don’t!
DanRad: That’s what your girlfriend calls you!
Tom: I know! The weird thing about this, is that I went to a party, I don’t know where it was, ’cause it was a few months ago, in which I met Stuart Broad.
DanRad: Did you?
Tom: Yeah! And all their team came up to me and said, “PLEASE take a photo with Stuart, because we take the mickey out of him and call him Malfoy!”
DanRad: *laughs*
Tom: So it’s not just on my half…
Aggers: Is that his nickname?
Tom: Apparently so! Apparently…
DanRad: Even if it’s not, we should start it.
Tom: Let’s start it, yeah.
DanRad: “And now Malfoy’s coming in to bowl”
Tom: “Malfoy’s coming in to bowl”… I’d be honoured!Tom: [Jade] knows the players, she know Broad very well, and she knows everyone else… so it’s great! Nice to bring someone else along.
DanRad: She knows Broad very well just cause, you look like him.
Tom [slightly exasperatedly]: Yes, thank you, Daniel.
[Indistinguishable]
Tom: Only he’s like, three foot-taller. When we had a photo together, I looked… physically abnormal next to him.
DanRad: Yeah.
Tom: He is huge.
DanRad: Well, you’ve got a good three inches on me, Tom.
Tom [obviously smiling]: Well, let’s not go there…DanRad: Listen, I really do see parallels between cricket and acting.
Tom: You mention this all the time on set…
DanRad: I know, I know…
Tom: ALL THE TIME!
DanRad: I know, I’m dull.
Dull or not, it seems the media loves the idea of these two talking and partaking in the cricket. Their appearance has been mentioned in The Mirror, The Times, Hello! Magazine, Sky Sports, BBC Sport, and The Sun.
For the many of you unable to download the audio interview of Tom and Dan at the England vs. Australia cricket match that Feltbeats.com previously reported them as giving to the BBC’s TMS, you can now listen to it in the below videos. Images in the video were taken at the taping, and can be found in our photo galleries. Listening to them in order is highly recommended, though the splits did take the conversation into account. 😉
As Feltbeats.com previously reported, Tom Felton recorded a message that was to be viewed previous to some advanced showings of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in Colorado. Turns out, the message ended up being a song Tom co-wrote and recorded at Abbey Road with Harry Potter co-star Jamie Waylett. Thanks to Felton Fan Gnzlsgrl5 and her friend who wishes to remain anonymous, we have been sent scans of the program from the screening which includes lyrics to the song.
The song is entitled There with Care, and was written in support of charity There With Care: Supporting Children and Families Facing Critical Illness. Tom has been an active supporter of the charity for years now. To see photos of Tom with co-stars Jamie Waylett and Devon Murray at a There With Care event in 2007, click here.
According to the event program:
There with Care is a Colorado non-profit that supports children and families facing critical illness in order to ease the burden of life’s day-to-day obligations during a medical crisis. We do this by building relationships with local hospitals, business owners, professionals and community volunteers who share in the car of the entire family during emotionally, financially and physically challenging times. In just over three years, we have provided multiple services to nearly 400 families being treated at 12 hospitals and hospice agencies. It has been an honor to be a small part of the support for these very special families.
And without further ado, here it is.

As soon as the song is released for the general public, Feltbeats.com will let you know.
