Snitchseeker was extremely lucky enough to be able to attend the 2011 Empire Film awards, and was able to interview Tom Felton!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I won for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film and Tom accepted the award on behalf of the crew.
From Snitchseeker:
SnitchSeeker was live at the 2011 Jameson Empire Film Awards, where Emma Watson and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I received nominations this evening. EmmaRiddle was in London for all the up-to-minute updates, and just revealed that Emma, who did not attend, lost out to Noomi Rapace for Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and that Deathly Hallows: Part I did win Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film, for which Tom Felton, who did show, received the prize on behalf of the crew involved. Gary Oldman (Sirius Black) received the Empire Icon award, presented to him by Oscar-winner Colin Firth.
Emma also got the chance to talk to Tom, Gary, and Nick Moran (Scabior) on the red carpet about their work in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II. We will have those exclusives later this week. For now, keep up to speed on the Empire Awards via our Twitter, which Emma is updating with with more news.
Snitchseeker also revealed a bit of their interactions with the stars on their Twitter account:
Spoke to @TomFelton. He did NOT do DH re-shoots.
@TomFelton should be coming in the presss room – any questions for him?
We just spoke to @TomFelton again. He wants to thank all the fans for voting.
Wow, thanks Snitchseeker! We can’t wait to see more!
