Tom Felton’s upcoming WWII film, “Grace and Danger,” gets letter of intent from distributor

Over the weekend we received some news regarding Tom Felton’s upcoming WWII film project, Grace and Danger. According to director Rhys Hayward, the film has received a letter of intent from American distributor Koan Inc.!

In case you haven’t been following the “Grace and Danger” news, this is a WWII film in which Tom is set to play the character Private Carnaby. For more information about Private Carnaby, including a excerpt of the script, click here.

Rhys’ message was sent to all members of the Grace and Danger group on Facebook:

Some exciting info. to share this week! – I now have a letter of intent from American distributor Koan Inc.

Koan distribute a number of WWII movies (their biggest selling genre) and these include Saints & Soldiers and The Fallen. They’re interested in all rights (television, theatrical & dvd). However, if we decided to go to other companies for theatrical & dvd distribution, they would still be keen to pick up domestic & foreign tv rights.

All very exciting stuff! I’ve been making lots of calls to the U.S. lately, so not looking forward to the next phone bill! – will be back next week with more items to confirm….

Though this does not guarantee production, it is a huge step in getting the film made and distributed!

Due to the great script and powerful attached cast (not only Tom Felton, but other stars such as Tom Sizemoore), this film has been getting a lot of attention lately. Just look at this screenshot showing the level of interest in the film on IMDB.com!

We think this is a great role for Tom, and we’ve also been told by the director that a sequel the film is being planned, and he would love to have Tom back to continue to play the part!

Great news, congratulations to Rhys and the rest of the crew!

New Information about Tom Felton’s Character in The Apparition

Thanks to Snitchseeker – they have received news from the reps of the movie – we now have more insight on who the characters are in Tom Felton’s new movie The Apparition. There has been a lot speculation about who the “young couple” would be, but now we have the answer. This is what the reps told Snitchseeker:

When frightening events start to occur in their home, young couple Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan) discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run. Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural (Tom Felton), but even with his help they may already be too late to save themselves from this terrifying force…

Tom Felton talks about Valentine’s Day and Two-Year Anniversary plans

Tom Felton talks with MTV.com about his Valentine’s Day and Two-Year Anniversary plans with girlfriend Jade

Congratulations to Tom Felton and his girlfriend, Jade Olivia, who celebrated their two year anniversary Wednesday! When we got a chance to talk to Tom while he was shooting his new film “The Apparition” in Berlin, he admitted that the two years has passed very quickly.

“I can’t believe how quickly this time has flown,” he said with a laugh.

Having an anniversary and Valentine’s Day in such close proximity to one another may seem like more of a problem than a gift, but with Tom filming far away from her for the next few weeks, it is working out in their benefit. Tom said he had planned a romantic trip for the both of them to Vienna to celebrate the holiday of love, but has had to postpone it because he has been filming.

“I’m keeping my fingers crossed that there may be a chance that Jade might be able to come out for the weekend so we can spend Valentine’s Day together and try to make the most of our two year anniversary,” he said.

Tom kept quiet on what exactly he was thinking his plans would be (though we wouldn’t ruin the surprise even if he told us!), but according to his description of his own romanticism, we’re sure it will be something adorable and special.

Apparently Tom — unlike his character “Harry Potter” Draco Malfoy — is a sucker for romantic situations as much as the rest of us … or maybe even more so.

“I’d love to say I play it cool, but I am a young Casanova, my friend,” Tom admitted with a laugh. “I can’t help myself! What can you say? When you’re young and in love, what else can you do?”

And what exactly are his go-to gifts for Valentine’s Day?

“I’m a big fan of the two dozen roses and the kind of cheesy card to go with it,” he dished. “I can’t help myself.”
