The effect Felton

Since the news of the shooting of ‘Clavius’ jumped to the media, this production has again put on the map of international cinema to Almería, almost a year after the filming of ‘Exodus’. A promotion can be multiplied through the social networking activity of one of its protagonists.

With a legion of fans for his role in the ‘Harry Potter’ saga, where he portrayed Draco Malfoy, Tom Felton has been sharing images of the shooting in Malta and corner of this country in their Instagram and Twitter profiles, including adds 2.5 million followers. If repeated with Almería, it will be an excellent spread for a land and greets this new production: Ave, ‘Clavius’!

Interview with Kevin Reynolds: “you have a combination of what we needed for this film”

Why he chose Almeria to roll ‘Clavius’?
You have a combination of things that was that we needed for this film: the desert, the sea and the Alcazaba, here in the city.

How long will they be working in the province?
Six weeks. We started on Tuesday.

Is looking Almeria?
It is a very nice town, I like his character. At the moment, the little I have seen is very nice.

Thanks to Jacob Yakob for this awesome pic of Tom !

3. You’ve been traveling a lot for work lately, where is one place you really want to visit on your time off?
4. Who would you have wanted to play Neville’s Grandmother in the series?
5. Having been in a band, would you ever like to play a guitarist in a film? Perhaps a biopic? Or maybe record a song with the other Potter actors who are musically inclined?

Earache Voices is a London based Voice-Over agency representing some of the best voice talent around.
They tweeted that Tom Felton will narrate “Too Tough To Teach” on Channel 5 (UK).
It is a two part documentary and starts at 9pm on Channel 5 on Monday 29th and concludes the following week.

Earache Voices wrote on their site:

Boys that are worse than Malfoy? Tom Felton narrates “Too Tough To Teach”

Are these kids “Too Tough To Teach?” Channel 5′s new documentary narrated by Earache’s Tom Felton has exclusive access to a school for boys with severe behavioural problems.

When boys arrive at Ian Mikardo School, they are aggressive, disaffected and at risk of ending up in custody. The school is the very end of the line for the toughest kids in East London – the boys that end up here have been permanently expelled from mainstream school with no possibility of returning.

Now, for the first time ever, this extraordinary institution will open its doors with a chance to look beyond the boys’ hard exteriors to reveal their lives, their families and the dedicated teachers who refuse to give up on them.

In a school where every child has special educational needs, we will see the challenges that the teachers have to face daily and the unusual lessons that are taught to the boys.

In this intimate portrayal of a school unlike any other, “Too Tough To Teach?” will follow the stories of a number of boys and their daily battle to release their potential.

This two part documentary starts at 9pm on Channel 5 on Monday 29th and concludes the following week.

Random Acts of Felton – it’s back, baby!

A few years ago Feltbeats.com worked with fans on one of the biggest birthday projects so far for Tom Felton – Random Acts of Felton! We received thousands of birthday wishes and hundreds of “Random Acts” geared toward spreading the true Felton spirit. Tom loved it! We decided it was so successful and well-received that we were going to do it again!

That’s right, folks! Random Acts of Felton is back!

We believe Tom is someone who always brings light and cheer into the hearts of his fans and those around him. He is giving and kind to everyone he meets – and we feel like spreading that spirit as far as possible!

So, we’re asking fans to commit a Random Act in the Tom Felton spirit, and tell us all about it on our new Tumblr! Then, we will present the website to Tom for his birthday.

What is a Random Act of Felton?

Here are some amazing ideas for Random Acts that fans did last time we ran this project:

– A young girl raised over $200 dollars in Tom’s name, and donated it to charity (You rock Allison!).

– A fan helped out at a senior center.

– Fans spent time with kids with cancer, brightening up their day.

– Fans baked cakes and food for others, helping to cheer them up.

– On fan distributed Tom Felton / Feltbeats fliers at the mall.

….. And sooooo much more!
