Charity campaign of Tom Felton and Sovjapan for Japan

Tom wrote to Harikore (Sovjapan – he is one of the person who’ve brought Tom last year to Japan) after the earthquake last month this message.

Dear mune

I was shocked to hear the news this morning. I saw pictures, it looked horrific. I really hope you and your family are safe and ok.

Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Lots of love

Tom x

Harry Potter: The Exhibition/Deathly Hallows Part 1 DVD Release Event

This past Monday, Feltbeats.com had the honor of attending multiple press events promoting Harry Potter: The Exhibition’s opening at Discovery Times Square, as well as next weeks release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 on DVD and Blue Ray. In attendance, were Harry Potter cast members, and filmakers.

First up, representatives from fansites attended  a Q and A featuring multiple Harry Potter cast members and producers. Tom Felton was unfortunately unable to attend due to his appearance at Supernova in Australia. The Q and A was broken up into to sessions. The first one featuring Robbie Coltrane, Freddie Stroma, Evanna Lynch, David Thewlis, Warwick Davis, Natalia Tena, Helen McCrory, and David Barron. The second featuring Bonnie Wright, James and Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Domhnal Gleeson, Clemence Posey, Michael Gambon, and David Heyman. Warner Bros. has been kind enough to supply us with audio from not only the fansite press conferences, but ones attended by mainstream media outlets.

Here is the audio from the Fansite press conference:

Monday evening, we once again made our way to the Discovery Times Square to attend the red carpet event. We were not allowed to videotape the event, however we were able to take still photography:

Many more photos can be found in our gallery. If your in the NY area, be sure to check out Harry Potter: The Exhibition at Discovery Times Square, and don’t forget to pick up your copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, April 11th in the UK, and April 15th in the US!

Thanks once again to Warner Bros. for the links, and such a great time this week!
