Want to chat with Tom Felton tomorrow? Here’s how!

Tom in Habbo

As we announced earlier, Tom Felton will be on the Habbo graphic chat site tomorrow at 4:15 BST.

So, in order to benefit the great Feltbeats community (and because I’m a geek) I have done extensive scientific research on the Habbo chat (meaning, I’ve been chatting with fans there for like an hour! Hehe) and I’ll give you the lowdown!

1. First, log onto Habbo and create your character. This is the link I went to: http://www.habbo.com/client?forwardId=1&roomId=21. It should ask you to create an account, or log in with your Facebook.

2. Then you’ll be able to create a character, change your hair color and outfit (try to look your best for Tom!) and change your name.

3. Then, click on that link here again (http://www.habbo.com/client?forwardId=1&roomId=21) which should take you directly to the Habbo Cinema, where Tom is supposed to make an appearance.

4. We are being told by some Habbo veterans that there will likely be a limit to the number of people allowed into the room at once. Which means that it will essentially be first-come, first-served. So get there EARLY! In fact, there are already a group of fans in the Habbo Cinema hoping to wait TEN HOURS until Tom gets there!

If you try to show up and the room is already full, supposedly there will be a queue and you will be able to wait until a spot hopefully opens up.

5. If you are insane and you plan on waiting for several hours until he shows up, we have also found out that if you are inactive (no typing in the chat) for 10 minutes, you get kicked out! So, be chatty. =)

If anyone is able to record the event on their computer, please e-mail or tweet us! We’d love to post it here!

A bunch of Feltbeats fans in Habbo. I’m the blonde in the front row who is wearing a Groucho Marx disguise and is SPARKLING! Yes, I sparkle. And notice we have a little Draco dancing up on the stage. Yay! FrkMichelle is wearing a bag over her head because she is shy. Haha. And thanks OrPhAn for all your insider tips!

By the way, I love how Tom’s Haboo avatar has a bracelet (just like in real life!) and his shoe is untied! Hah!

Tom Felton talks about the Robin Hood Tax at Habbo tomorrow

Tom in Habbo

I’ll let Tom tell you himself:

stopping in with habbo tomorrow! http://www.habbo.com/articles/1737-tom-felton-in-habbo

According to the link he provided:

He is coming to talk about the Robin Hood Tax and the film making competition he is judging!

If you haven’t already, check out this fantastic opportunity to support a good cause and to win awesome prizes, just by creating a short film »

Tom was originally coming by to announce the winner of the under 18 category, but due to the overwhelming interest and fantastic response, the people behind the Robin Hood Tax campaign has decided to extend their movie making deadline until July 31st.

So here’s your chance to get creative!

Use a mobile phone, a flip cam, a camcorder, the film setting on your camera – whatever you can get your hands on to make a short film which gets this message out: “Tax the banks – and use the money to fight poverty in the UK and developing countries and climate change”.

Prizes include a master-class with Richard Curtis (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Love Actually), a feature on YouTube’s home page and camera equipment!

Interested in submitting a short film? Want to know more about the Robin Hood Tax initiative? Tom Felton will be arriving in the Habbo Cinema Tuesday July 6th, at 4.15pm BST, so here’s your chance to get a leg up on the competition!

Let us know if you are able to make it to the Cinema!

Update from Misha: I’ve had a few people ask me about the location of the Habbo Cinema, and lucky for you, it’s online! So everyone can go!

In order to log in and create an account, go to this link and set up your character! I just set mine up – I’m wearing a disguise though so you won’t recognize me! Muhahaha! 😉

“It’s Tom Felton, so I don’t need to really tell you too much more, now, do I?”

The following response was issued by E! Online in answer to the question “What are the Harry Potter kids gonna do after this last movie?” I found what they said about Tom highly apropos, don’t you?

The ladies seem to love some Tom Felton, so we’ll throw him in here, too. Once he hangs up his Death-Eater get-up, the onetime Draco Malfoy will debut a horror flick already in the can.

It’s called The Apparition, something about a college experiment gone horribly wrong, but it’s Tom Felton, so I don’t need to really tell you too much more, now, do I?

BWA-Hahahahaha! 😀

Hermione punched Draco with her fist and the audience clapped with enthusiasm, except Tom Felton

I found some old scans of Tom Felton from various magazines. I think one scan is cute and therefore I translated the article for you.

6,000 guests sitting like spellbound at the world premiere “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” in the Radio City Music Hall in New York and stare at the screen. On this, they can see as Hermione punch Draco in his face! The guests are jumping off their seats, yelling and clapping with enthusiasm – except one: Tom Felton, the actor who plays Draco.

For the British actor, this whole situation is embarrassing. If he would have magical powers, the 16-year old would make himself invisible and sneak out of the cinema. After the presentation, he admits shy, “I knew Draco is unpopular – but I didn’t know, that he is so hated, I was so shocked!” Anyone who really knows him, will know how much this goes to Tom Felton’s deepest feelings. In fact, the young star is quite the opposite in his real life.
In contrast to his role in the movies, Tom gets guilty feelings even at the slightest occasions: “After the last shooting I took Draco’s wand as a souvenir from the set. But as the director Alfonso Cuaron screamed on set, where the damn part would be, I went to him and confessed everything…”

Maybe Tom’s conscientious behavior is from his time in the church choir, where he sang with seven years. Two years later, he had his first time in front of the camera, in the comedy movie “The Borrowers”. In early 2000 Tom went to the casting for “Harry Potter” – he tried to get the leading part. But the producers had already made her choice for Daniel Radclifffe (14). Instead, Tom was allowed to get into the skin of Draco Malfoy (the name comes from the French “mal foi”, in German: in bad faith) – he plays the role perfectly, although not at his real essence corresponds to:

While Draco is out only to disturb the teaching in the boarding school, Tom enjoys going to school – except for maths …

Even his hobby, which he takes to relieve stress, is quite unspectacular: Since his favorite brother Chris (19) once took him for fishing, Tom is bent completely out to catch fish by himself. “But not just for fun,” he said. “We catch only what will be eaten by us!”

Tom doesn’t like parties and big occations. Since spring he has a girlfriend, and with her he cuddles at home – but her name he tries to keep in secret.

Soon Tom must go back to work: In July the shooting for “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” is begin to start. The shooting runs since March in the Leavesden Studios in England. Tom is really happy about it: “I hope, that Draco will take revenge on Hermione!” Grinning, he adds: “It would be cool, if I’d steal her Clothes while she takes a bath and she’d run naked through Hogwarts…”

We have also new old photos of Tom in our gallery.
