New Photos of Tom Felton and girlfriend Jade Gordon during epilogue filming: Is Jade playing Mrs. Malfoy?

We’ve seen some of these photos before, but they are now available in higher resolution, thanks to @masterofmystery and dhmoviepics.

The most interesting aspect perhaps, however, is a new photo of Tom’s girlfriend, Jade Gordon, in what is apparently full costume as – presumably – Astoria Malfoy. You can see her spider broach, silver snake bracelet and a silver wedding ring. One could assume the Ugg boots are just for comfort when not filming, as you can see her wearing spiked high heels in other photos (see inset photo).

As you may be aware, Astoria Malfoy was not mentioned at all in the books – but was rather revealed later by JK Rowling in an interview with The Leaky Cauldron. Rowling said that because she hated Pansy Parkinson so much, she chose to have Draco marry someone else. The someone else ended up being Astoria, the younger sister (by two years) of Draco’s fellow Slyterin classmate, Daphne Greengrass. We know that Astoria is a pure blood wizard because her and Draco’s son, Scorpius, is a pure blood.

We have no official confirmation that she playing the small part of Astoria in the epilogue, but it seems like a good guess at this point!

Jade Gordon

Feltbeats.com has been toying with the idea of Jade as Astoria Malfoy for almost exactly a year now, since the idea was proposed by DaisyHarrisx on the Feltbeats.com forum in May of 2009.

At the premiere of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” Feltbeats reporter @bserlori asked Tom whether or not he thought Jade could play Astoria, and he seemed to agree. (Please do not be distracted by the whole thing with Tom and Dan playing cricket in the mud. LOL!)

After they saw that interview with Tom, our friends at Snitchseeker.com took the idea another step forward and proposed the idea to Harry Potter producer, David Heyman, who responded, “We’ll keep that in mind.”

Is it possible that Jade is actually playing this part, and that we fans somehow had a part to play in getting her cast? I assume we’ll know someday. =)

Please, do not burgle Tom Felton! Thanks.

According to home insurer LV=, Tom Felton tops the list of British celebrities who share personal information online.

Home insurer LV= commissioned experts to analyze the tweets of the ‘most followed’ British celebrities for a month. Each celebrity was then assigned a ‘risk score’ based on the number of times they divulged their location or personal information when tweeting. According to the study, Tom Felton revealed the most personal information to his fans of all celebrities analyzed.

The top celebrity tweeters, starting with the ones who revealed the most personal information, is as follows:

1. Tom Felton (TomFelton) – Actor
2. Calvin Harris (calvinharris) – Musician
3. Fearne Cotton (Fearnecotton) – Television presenter
4. Davina McCall (ThisisDavina) – Television presenter
5. Jonathan Ross (Wossy) – Television presenter
6. Jimmy Carr (jimmycarr) – Comedian
7. Jamie Oliver (jamie_oliver) – TV chef
8. Aled Haydn Jones (ahj) – Radio producer
9. Phillip Schofield (Schofe) – Television presenter
10. Noush Skaugen (noushskaugen) – Singer/songwriter

LV=, the home insurance company, makes the point that if you announce that you are away from home online, crafty criminals have a better opportunity to “burgle” your home when you’re gone.

Although Tom may indeed frequently reveal his location to fans online, it is usually to let people know of an event he will attend in order to publicize it and give fans an opportunity to meet or see him. He also reveals lots of other personal tidbits – though I’m not sure how his love of chocolate chip pancakes could be used against him.

But of course, Tom’s open and friendly personality, and the fun insights into his life that he shares on Twitter, is why he has a quarter of a million followers.

This is totally a real photo.

So, let me take this opportunity to address any crafty criminals who happen to be reading this blog:

Don’t even bother, because Tom has a home security set-up that could rival Fort Knox: with a Mission-Impossible-style laser movement detection system, really buff armed guards who look like Mr. T, a highly-trained guard dog named Timber, a huge moat (filled with piranhas and sharks with laser beams!) and albino peacocks.

Oh yeah, and while I have your attention, give him back his damned guitar.

Another Video of Tom Felton leaving King’s Cross Station on 26 May

Thanks to Rechercheart, we now have another video of Tom leaving King’s Cross station on 26 May. In her notes on the video where she was able to catch a glimpse of practically the entire cast, she mentions it was later that evening when Daniel Radcliffe, David Heyman, Emma Watson, and Bonnie Wright accepted awards for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” at the National Movie Awards.

You can read her notes on the video here at the source.
