An Empirical BRAVO for Tom Felton

Thanks to Estrella89san and her fellow admins at TomFeltonFans_ for a scan of Tom from the latest issue of BRAVO magazine. The German magazine stated how Tom enjoyed his Miami holiday and is still filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in which Part 1 is due out later this year.

In addition to this fabulous scan, we were also treated with some new photos of Tom from March 2009, when he attended the Jameson Empire Awards in London. This year’s award ceremony is still in the voting stages, and whether Tom will be in attendance at this years event is anyone’s guess. We’ll let you know when we know.

You can see the rest of the new photos from this event here in our photo gallery.

Hey, guys, QUICK… Answer me this: Do you want Tom Felton to follow you on Twitter for a week?!

If you want me to follow you on twitter for a week, go to www.itsnojoke.tv to find out how!

Amazingly, but perhaps not at all surprisingly, the server crashed. However, it’s back now. But just in case it crashes again, AlcoholNoJoke has informed everyone to still try by commenting on their Facebook page:

You can still enter @Tomfelton comp by commenting on the wall at our fb group: http://tinyurl.com/ycyd7ea

All you need is a twitter, a Facebook account, and Spirit Fingers [okay, not the last one… maybe]. You have until January 31st! But don’t wait until the last minute. Go to the website – linked also to the banner below – and test your luck! Good news, since you only get one shot to win, you all have Beginner’s Luck! Now go on, young Grasshoppers… er, TwitterBirds.

Here are the contest’s Terms and Conditions.

And don’t forget to follow AlcoholNoJoke on Twitter! And check out the website: their message, regardless of the contest, is a very important one. We at Feltbeats support them.

Good Luck, Everyone!

Tom Felton Inspires International Music Effort

Feltbeats.com was founded because of Tom Felton’s music. As a result, we have many members inspired to play guitar or pursue other musical interests because of Tom, and we’re darned proud of that.

Last summer, several Feltbeats.com forum members decided to get together and start a musical collaboration, aptly named the “Feltbeats Addicts Band,” also known as FAB.

It started casually enough, but quickly grew. Their first effort, affectionately called “TTS”, short for the Twittering Tom Song, was released in September in honor of Tom Felton’s twenty-second birthday. But that was just the beginning. The group now has several songs completed, with more projects underway.

There are six band leaders: stormlite02 (moderator, auditions), snatalia (editor), irooloo (videographer, composer), amaren88 (artwork), shanajaca (lyrics), and krobertson24 (composer), who merge the tracks to put together the finished product.

Great job, ladies! I’m sure Tom will love to know that he inspired you. We look forward to the day when you might be able to create music together in real-time. For now, it’s wonderful how technology, and the inspiration of Tom Felton, can bring together a group from multiple countries and languages in a spirit of fun and goodwill.

Currently, the band has members in Belgium, Germany, Greece, Scotland, England, US, China and others.

The FAB website, with links to their songs, can be found at:

Tom Felton hints at Romance for Draco in Deathly Hallows?

While most of the main characters were dealing with romance issues in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, poor Draco was left alone. Well, in a recent BBC radio interview about Deathly Hallows, Tom Felton hints that Draco’s luck will change.

Tom: I don’t want to say too much. Let’s just say he didn’t get too much female attention in the last film

BBC: No, he didn’t.

Tom: Well, soon to be rectified.

The full interview, with Matt Lewis also talking about the major changes Neville goes through in the movie, may be found at Snitchseeker. Thank you.

Special thanks, also, to Clementine for the story!
