Tom Felton answers fan questions about tattoos, Jade, and more with the LA Times

Feltbeats.com was thrilled yesterday to get confirmation from Ministry of Gossip columnist, Matt Donnelly, that he would be interviewing Tom Felton the next day. Matt was extremely kind in allowing Tom Felton fans from around the world tweet to him with suggested questions, and then made their dreams come true by asking them to Tom himself!

Matt also asks Tom about his cameo in Jonah Hill’s film, “Get Him To The Greek.” Click here to read it all!

Here is an excerpt of the brilliant interview:

Tom Felton

MD: Are you following the “Twilight” phenomenon? That’s another young group of actors suddenly exposed to worldwide media attention. Any advice for them?

TF: I confess, I’m not the biggest [fan] of “Twilight,” but I came along due to my girlfriend. She’s fanatical about the books; I didn’t hear from her for two weeks when she was reading them. But Rob and everyone else are fantastic. They don’t need any advice from us.

MD: Speaking of your girlfriend, Jade, I know you’re both quite young, but it’s Hollywood. Any plans to make a bigger commitment?

TF: [Laughs] That’s a serious question! I would confess, we’re well and truly head over heels, but no. I’m in New York now and looking around for unique Christmas gifts for her.

MD: You have some very funny and devout fans. One of them asked about tattoos and piercings — do you have or want any?

TF: Never had a piercing, never had a tattoo. I don’t think they look good on anyone other than Megan Fox. … I once wanted to get my eyebrow pierced; my brother got it done and in a drunken night ripped it out. He’s got a hole there now.

This Town Ain’t Big Enough For The Both Of Us, Voldemort – Tom Felton Reveals Final Scene Hint

In another MTV interview, Tom Felton talks about the last Fight Scene of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. He describes it as being like a “western style showdown.” He also talks about what the end will be like. You can watch the interview on the MTV website.

Here’s the interview:

It’s all been building to this: the battle to the death between Harry Potter and his Dark Arts-enabled adversary Voldemort on the hallowed grounds of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Devotees of J.K. Rowling’s boy-wizard series already know how the clash ends in the final book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” but no one yet knows how it will be handled onscreen. Stay tuned until the summer of 2011, when the second part of “Deathly Hallows” arrives in theaters, to find out.

Until then, we’ll have to go on what its castmembers have to say. Stopping by MTV News to promote the DVD of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” star Tom Felton raved about the climatic combat scene and the way it brings so much of the cast together at once.

“It’s kind of cool, because this is the first time we’ve had so many castmembers on one set at one time, especially everyone from the evil camp and everyone from the good camp in a Western-style showdown — without revealing too much,” said Felton, who plays the nefarious Draco Malfoy. “It’s an amazing last scene, what we’ve shot of it so far. It’s very exciting.”

That’s not the only scene left to complete. The yearlong shoot was originally slated to wrap up at the end of April, but it’s now been extended well into June. Though the end is far off, Felton laughed that he, Daniel Radcliffe and the rest of the cast are looking forward to what should be a killer wrap party, a decade after they began filming the first movie in the series.

In the meantime, Felton is looking forward to returning to the “Potter” set across the Atlantic. “I’ve rarely had an opportunity to work with the evil family,” he said. “I’m working with Helena Bonham Carter, who’s a lovely lady and also a completely scary witch when she wants to be. I’m enjoying working with adult cast tremendously.”
