A blast from Tom Felton’s past: Would you hire this kid?

Thanks to TomFeltonEU, we have this adorable agency card of Tom Felton when he was a wee lad of just 10 years old. These cards are given by talent agencies to casting directors, so they can make decisions about who to hire for their movies and TV shows. This card presumably got Tom his role as Louis T. Leonowens in Anna and the King with Jodie Foster.

From the card, we learn some new information – that Tom did some work on the radio during his childhood. And we now have official confirmation that his height is 4’6″ (Hmm! He looks so much taller standing next to Dan Radcliffe! Oh well!).

  4. @feltbeats Ok wasnt he 4.6 at the age of 10? Boys at that age grow a lot and the card didnt update right ! Or didnt i understand the joke?

  12. Yes, that’s what I saw. At least at the time of the card, Thomas was playing the violin.

    To be true, I’ve a soft spot for cords instruments, especially when such classical ones (harp, violin…) are used into a celtical themed atmosphere piece, sending back to Fairy Folk tales and stories.

    Therefore, I can only wonder how good Thomas’s violin skills are to give birth to such cultural related piece, hé, hé…

    Likewise, crossing the fingers to hear these violin skills of his on the next album.

  19. VIOLIN!? What? Hidden talents, eh? I wonder if he can still play it… I wonder if anyone can find those radio things he did. I don’t even remember who that character was from Wizard of Earthsea, and I’ve read that story like five times.

  25. I find it cool that he played the violin then. I know its a hard instrument to play, I play it myself, and that makes me love Tom even more than i already did.
