Woodbridge Patch interviews Tom Felton with their top five questions. Check them out.
The one burning question that I’m wondering now is… what did Tom Felton have for a mid-day snack? What about second breakfast? [Get ready to be asked a cornucopia of food questions now!]
1. If the world of Harry Potter was real for one day, what would be the first thing you would do, and what would be the last thing you would do?
Tom Felton: That’s a hard question. They usually ask what would be something that you would take from the wizarding world to the real world. The first thing I would do is learn to fly. I’ve taken quite a fancy in being on a broomstick. The last thing I would do is bring it back home with me.
I’m also fascinated with the invisibility cloak. I think it’s pretty handy. That would be a lot of fun. I can’t tell you all the mischievous things I would do…
2. How has it been growing up playing a villain? How do fans treat you differently from how they see Daniel [Radcliffe], Emma [Watson] and Rupert [Grint]?
Felton: Needless to say, every day on the film set the kids would be happy to see Daniel, Rupert and Emma and they wouldn’t be excited to see me. I took it personally at first.
I would try to be friendly with them and overcompensate but then they were just afraid of me. I knew I couldn’t win with little kids.
Jason Isaacs who plays my dad [Lucius Malfoy] was the best with that. He knew that they were there just to see the character so, after a while, I just played into it. I even had fun scaring the kids.
3. If you could trade places with anyone animated for a day, who would it be?
Felton: Robin Hood. I love that fox. Or Buzz and Woody [from Toy Story]. Woody’s my boy. I also like Homer Simpson.
4. What would you say is the greatest difference between fans in the U.K. and fans in the U.S.?
Felton: It’s such a great difference. In London we’re way too embarrassed and awkward. We’ll clap and they’ll stop in fear of being the last. It’s difficult for Potter fans.
In New York, we actually missed the first half of the movie. Everyone’s clapping and cheering, it’s like a live show, like they’re a part of the movie. They’re shouting at the characters. In London they sit and are quiet.
5. What question have you never been asked in an interview but wish it were?
Felton: I wish I had something entertaining. No one ever asks me what I had for breakfast.
Is Tom implying that I should ask him what he had for breakfast when I see him at Hollywood Cinemas tomorrow? xD Because I totally will.
Tom Felton amazing guy, so nice to watch and read news and to learn more and more.
🙂
Haha~ So after seeing Tom Felton, and even being questioned by @Feltbeats Tom had a “late breakfast” of pizza. xD We didn’t ask what type, but maybe he’ll reply on his twitter? I hope so!! <3
He made my 16th birthday. <3 So sweet!
