Tom Felton’s “13 Hours” Due to Frighten at UK’s Frightfest

Tom Felton’s movie that he filmed last year, a horror flick aptly named “13 Hours” is set to try and frighten fans at this year’s UK Frightfest. The World Premiere of the movie will be screened at 3:15PM on Saturday August 28th!

If you are able to attend this fest, we would like feedback on what you thought of the movie (sans spoilers for folks like me who won’t be able to make it). The flier for the movie does state that the “Key cast” will be “in attendance.” We are unsure at this time whether Tom Felton will be there, since it doesn’t state whether every member of the key cast will be. We will keep you posted as news develops.

Also, “13 Hours” is slated for a Halloween month theatrical release in October of this year in the UK (the banner for the movie is on a slide show with other movies at the top of the page). News as to whether it will be available in other countries at this time has not reached our eyes and/or ears, but if it does, we’ll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, get ready to scream UK fans, October is not so far away now!

Tom Felton Says Farewell Scene Is All About ‘Presence And Look’

Here is part 3 of Tom’s latest MTV interview.

While the recent trailers and TV spots for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” have proven to be sufficient teasers for Potterheads — showcasing a darker, more serious film and more harrowing action sequences — fans can’t seem to get enough news about the series’ much-discussed/hyped final scene: the epilogue.

When MTV News caught up with celebrated villain and MTV Movie Award winner Tom Felton, we asked him if in his big final scene, which is set 19 years in the “Potter” future, Draco Malfoy closes the series with any sweeping dialogue.

“I had a monologue prepared, but time was short,” he joked. “No, it was all in the presence and the look.”

So Draco Malfoy’s farewell is all in his menacing presence? “This is the idea, that’s what they told me,” he said. “Hopefully that reads. It was a lot of fun.”

Adding to the epilogue fun is the fact that Felton’s real-life girlfriend, “Potter” stunt assistant Jade Olivia, plays his wife in that final shot.

“She was at first reluctant, but I pulled her arm and twisted it,” Felton told MTV at last month’s Movie Awards of convincing Olivia to step in and play Astoria Malfoy. “She was filming with me for three days at King’s Cross [railway station in the U.K.]. We were very excited.

“It gave me a chance to see what she’s going to look like in 19 years,” Felton added. “And if that’s what she looks like, I’m doing pretty well for myself,” he laughed. “But I look terrible,” he said of his own aged visage. “The years have not been kind to me in the slightest. But what can I do? I’ve gotta just roll with it.”

Rumor: Tom Felton to star in new horror movie, “Evac”

Thanks to Snitchseeker.com, we have this new story from “Moviehole.” According to the site, Tom Felton has landed a starring role as an army sergeant in a new $12.5m “Military Mutant Horror” picture called, “Evac.”

The official synopsis has “Evac”‘s story as this:

Eastern Russia. One week before Christmas. A government lab is awakened by the arrival of some local poultry farmers. But why bring them here? Each of the men are rabid trying to bite anyone who comes close to them. Why are they this way? What is the cure? Neither question can be answered.

Anchorage Alaska. Three days before Christmas. A large container ship, from Russia unloads its cargo. Amongst the containers is a shipment of turkeys ready to be served up on Christmas Day to the locals, including the local army base.

Christmas Day Sgt. Gerry Maguire and three others, following the wrath of their commander, are sent on patrol as the rest of the base tuck into a lavish meal. On their return that evening, Gerry and the others enter what looks like a desserted base. But little do the know what they are about to be faced with could change Christmas, and possibly the entire country, forever.

According to Moviehole, Tom will play Sgt. Gerry Maguire opposite Michael Biehn (“Aliens,” “Grindhouse”) and the film will be directed by Peter MacDonald (“Rambo 3”).

Feltbeats has not yet been able to officially confirm this rumor – but we will let you know the second we hear something!
