Tom Felton Reacts To Second Best Villain Award Nomination

Earlier this week, we reported that Tom Felton secured his second straight nomination for Best Villain at the MTV Movie Awards.  MTV caught up with Tom to get his reaction:

“All I can send is my endless appreciation to everyone who is online and campaigning,” he said. “I really appreciate it. It’s an endless, sweet gesture, after 10 years, that Draco gets a lot of love. It’s ironic, in a way, but I love it and appreciate it very much.”

“In a way, even though he’s known as a slimy bully, he’s not really that villainous,” Felton added. “There’s actually a sweet little boy there. They love to hate me!”

Voting is open until June 4th, and the Golden Popcorn will be presented on June 5th at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California and hosted by Jason Sudeikis.

Tom Felton Reminisces About Working With Daniel Radcliffe In New Article

In a new article from  musicrooms.net, Tom Felton talks about working with Daniel Radcliffe, and why it has been one of the best experiences of his life.

The two stars appear alongside each other in the Harry Potter movies, the final instalment of which is due out later this year. Tom plays Draco Malfoy while Daniel is boy wizard Harry, and despite their characters being enemies in the franchise, the pair get along famously in real life.

All those involved in the franchise are gearing up for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, with Tom admitting saying goodbye to the series is hard. He’s particularly going to miss Daniel as he’s learned so much from him.

“There was a great sense of excitement on set always. It was always great working with Daniel because he has a fantastic excitement and passion for what he does,” Tom explained. “Even when he’s not needed in a scene he’s always there behind the camera. It’s always great working with Daniel and I’ll sincerely miss that.”

Tom, 23, has a number of memories from shooting the movies which will stay with him forever. He can vividly recall attending the premieres for the early films, admitting he had no idea quite how popular they would become.

“I’ll never forget some of the early memories of walking through the great hall as an 11 year old child, or however old I was, so those memories will always hold with me,” he said in a video posted on marieclaire.co.uk. “As well as some of the early premieres, they blew me away really and I had no idea what I was letting myself in for but I loved every minute.”
