Tom Felton in the latest issue of the German magazine Yeah!

Thanks to Sabkay for the scan and the translation of the interview of Tom Felton in the latest Yeah!.

Yeah! On November 18th Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I is starting. What was the most beautiful on set?
Tom: “Mhh. I really can’t say something special. Everything was nice. I enjoyed it very much, to hang out with the crew. We are one huge family!”

Yeah! The second part of The Deathly Hallows is also already filmed. What do you miss the most from the Harry-Potter-Time
Tom: (laughs) The shooting breaks. Rupert always gave me then lessons in Golf, we had so much fun. Well, and I miss somehow my role as Draco. He is really grown to my heart after the ten years. But all good things come to an end at some point!”

Yeah! You were allowed to shoot the Movie “The Apparition” together with Ashley Greene. How is she like?
Tom: Oh, she’s an insanely great actress and looks so fine on the screen – which I thought while I watched Twilight. It was really a honor for me to work with her. She’s so cute…”

Yeah! What did you think actually about “Twilight”?
Tom: “I’ve seen the films and i like them. My Girlfriend is a huge Fan of Twilight. She almost inhales all Books. When we were on holiday in Sicily, she hardly spoke to me.. because she just read. She knows all about Team Edward and Team Jacob. I have to admit honestly: I have no plan of it.”

Yeah! Your Girlfriend Jade has also worked on the Potter-Set – as a Stunt-Coordination-Assistant. Do you still get the chance to see each other after all is over now?
Tom: “Currently, yes. She’s with me at my Appointments, and we try to be together as often as possible. But next year we have different film projects – then it will be a little harder, but we’ll find a solution then.”

Yeah! I’ve heard that you also sing. Is that true?
Tom: “Yes, Music is besides acting my passion. I founded a own record label and gave myself a contract.”

Yeah! Hey, Tom! But that’s cheating!
Tom: (laughs) “Yeah, but it is much easier. It is not so much to me, I want to look for young talents and encourage them…”

Yeah! So you don’t make more music?
Tom: “Sure I do! I’ve recorded a few songs. Singing is so much fun for me!”

Yeah! How are your Songs?
Tom: “Rocking – not too hard not too soft. They are Guitar-Songs, just like the Songs of my idol John Mayer. The Fans can be excited in any case…”

Tom Felton appreciates the Harry Potter fans

Last month Harry Potter UK gave the fans on facebook the possibility to ask Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, Matthew Lewis or James and Oliver Phelps questions. Since mid-September, they post questions from fans and the responses of the stars on facebook. Today they published a question to Tom with his answer.

Tom Felton tells us how much he appreciates the Harry Potter fans in another of our Fan Q & As! Jennifer MacGregor asks: “Did you ever think, when filming the first film, that the series would become the phenomenon that it has?” Tom said: “Of course not! I had no idea that we would be still filming ten years later! It’…s incredible that the fans have kept us all going so long…I am very grateful for them.”

Tom Felton’s Top Bad Guys as told to Total Film

While speaking with Total Film Magazine for their November feature on Tom’s upcoming appearance in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I,” Tom relayed his Top Ten favorite all time villains. No surprises on a few of them, but I’m mighty impressed Tom’s choices include villains from older films.

10. Harry Waters, In Bruges (2008)
Played By: Ralph Fiennes

Tom Says: “I recently saw Ralph in this and I thought that he was brilliant. I was like, ‘You’re not like that at all in real life!’”

9. Lord Voldemort, Harry Potter series (2001-2011)
Played By: Ralph Fiennes

Tom Says: “Ralph Fiennes scares the life out me, he really does.”

8. Blofeld, Bond Series (1963 – 1983)
Played By: Donald Pleasence (among others)

Tom Says: “The guy with the cat. The ultimate Bond villain.”

7. Jaws, The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Moonraker (1979)
Played By: Richard Kiel

Tom Says: “I thought he was great as a kid – I loved him fighting Bond on the cable car. A great baddie, but still manages to get a girlfriend in space.”

6. Colonel William Tavington, The Patriot (2000)
Played By: Jason Issacs

Tom Says: “I’m a big fan of Jason Isaacs – got to be, he’s my Dad – but he’s brilliantly horrible in that.”

5. Hannibal Lecter, The Silence Of The Lambs (1991)
Played By: Anthony Hopkins

Tom Says: “He just delivers such malice. If you were young enough you could watch that and not understand he’s a bad person. He underplays it superbly, it’s a masterclass in acting.”

4. The Joker, The Dark Knight (2008)
Played By: Heath Ledger

Tom Says: “Obviously. Heath Ledger was amazing. So dangerous, you just didn’t know what he’d do next.”

3. Colonel Hans Landa, Inglourious Basterds (2009)
Played By: Christoph Waltz

Tom Says: “He’s right up there. He’s so scary and horrible. He’s doing Water For Elephants with Robert Pattinson so I might call him and ask if Christoph’s as creepy in real life.”

2. Dr. Evil, Austin Powers Series (1997 – 2002)
Played By: Mike Myers

Tom Says: “When he got mini-me it just got even funnier. He’s got a couple of great tunes – I love it when he sings ‘Just The Two Of Us’.”

1. Brick Top, Snatch (2000)
Played By: Alan Ford

Tom Says: “Alan Ford is amazing. He’s completely vile as Brick Top but he does it in such a funny way I was just cracking up.”

Translation of Tom Felton’s interview in the French PREMIERE magazine

Thanks SnitchSeeker we have now a translation of the interview. The translations of the interviews of Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, Bill Nighy and Rade Serbedzija can you read here.

Premiere: How long was the filming of the two parts of Deathly Hallows?
Tom Felton: A little over a year, fourteen months to be precise. We can say that the team has every reason…

Premiere: Fourteen months! It leaves time to carry a baby…
Tom Felton: Exactly! It’s pretty surreal to spend so much time on a project. It was more sodas than ever to the end of this shoot*

P: After ten years of Harry Potter, say goodbye to the saga must have been especially heartbreaking.
TF: When we went back to the last festival at Leavensden after the end of filming, the emotion was at its height. It was the last time the full team was assembled in the Great Hall. We suddenly seemed very empty…a funny feeling.

P: You may find yourself in a few years wandering in the Harry Potter theme park that just opened in Florida.
TF: (Laughs) That’s exactly what I said! If I get too depressed, I will go live over there.

P: Throughout the saga, your job was to embody a character that people hated. It could not have been easy every day.
TF: I actually accumulated a certain amount of negative waves during the last decade. It was quite funny, in fact. Groups of children were regularly visiting the set of Harry Potter and the moment has come to meet me, they all went to hide behind the legs of their parents. I learned to take it as a compliment.

P: You also have your fan club, which annoys JK Rowling… because many young girls love Draco Malfoy, even though he is [rotten].
TF: I’m not sure how to answer that. You know what it is, girls have always loves the bad boys.

Thanks again!
