CBN has published a new interview with Tom Felton from a press junket last fall. He speaks about his upcoming film Risen, his role as Lucius and his favorite scene. He also mentioned his family and Alan Rickman.
Known worldwide as Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter movies, English actor Tom Felton returns to the big screen in the role of a Roman military aide named Lucius in Sony Pictures’ Risen.
Felton supports lead actor Joseph Fiennes in the fictional retelling of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the days after the crucified King of the Jews’ body disappears. Told from the perspective of an unbelieving Roman called Clavius (Fiennes), Risen seeks to come at this well-known and well-portrayed story from a different angle.
During a press junket last fall, Felton shared what drew him to play a part in Risen and how the late Alan Rickman, his Harry Potter co-star, is connected…
In talking with Fiennes and Felton, and the filmmakers behind Risen, it’s abundantly clear that each felt impacted by the experience…
Felton, who learned about Jesus growing up in England, feels that this mystery/detective story offers people from varied backgrounds a good time at the movies…
Though Risen is set more than 2,000 years ago, during the time of Jesus’ crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension, it has a message for today. Here’s what Felton had to say when asked what he thought it might say…
traileraddict has uploaded new videos of Tom’s upcoming film Risen. They have published videos of interviews with Tom Felton, Joseph Fiennes and Kevin Reynolds and new behind the scenes footage from the film.
