Video: Tom Felton’s sketch for Comic Relief – Red Nose Day and Trendic Topic

Today is in UK Red Nose Day. Tom Felton, Rupert Grint and many other stars (Paul McCartney, James Gordon Smithy, Goerge Michael, Ringo Starr, Justin Bieber…) did together a sketch for this year’s Comic Relief – Red Nose Day on BBC.

Enjoy it – it’s great! 🙂 Thanks to Red Nose Day for the video!

James Corden’s sketch for this year’s Comic Relief was one of the funniest and star-studded ever in the history of the show. Full of top stars and celebrities from George Michael to former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, the hilarious sketch climaxed with Sir Paul McCartney telling James Corden that he was too fat to go to Africa.

James played the character of the chirpy plumber Smithy from Gavin & Stacey in thesketch which saw several celebrities arguing over who should go to Africa to make a film about the work of Comic Relief. Apart form Gordon Brown and Sir Paul, among the stars were Lords Coe and Winston, Keira Knightley, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton from the Harry Potter films, JLS, Rio Ferdinand, Tiny Tempah, Ringo Starr, Justin Bieber, and Olympic diver Tom Daley all apparently in the same meeting room.

Keira was told she couldn’t go to Africa because she was too gorgeous and Rio was not allowed to go for being unable to produce tears on demand.

When Smithy eventually volunteered, Paul told him he’s a bloater and said:

“People don’t like seeing tubby people over in Africa. If they hadn’t eaten so much, no one would be starving.”

Smithy arrived with George Michael in his plumber’s estate car, singing along to classic Wham! tunes.

Social media sites lit up within seconds of the sketch transmitted with people raving about the sketch including Good Morning’s Philip Schofield, who spoke for many when he said “Genius”. Corden replied, thanking everyone for their kind words and reminding them that it wasn’t just him who put it together.

What’s Tom Felton’s Line? Video!

Thanks to Snitchseeker, we now have the clip of Tom Felton on “What’s My Line?”

Basically, the show is a kind of hot/cold game where contestants try to… Guess who (without all the murder and mayhem ;)).

I can’t seem to get the code for the video, so click the picture below and you will be transferred to Snithseeker’s page.

Also, be sure to check back with us for more updates on Red Nose Day. On March 18th, Tom Felton will be doing a Comedy Skit with Rupert Grint on the special that will be aired on television.  If anyone can tape that footage for us, that would be fantastic! Thanks.

Thanks again to Snitchseeker for the clip and info!

New depiction of Tom Felton as Carnaby in WWII movie “Grace and Danger”

Thanks to movie site HeyUGuys, we have a new image of Tom Felton as Carnaby in the WWII movie “Grace and Danger.” The image is by Spanish artist “Miki.”

Tom Felton as Carbaby

In case you haven’t been following the “Grace and Danger” news, this is a WWII film in which Tom is set to play the character Private Carnaby. For more information about Private Carnaby, including a excerpt of the script, click here.

We think this is a great role for Tom, and we’ve also been told by the director that a sequel the film is being planned, and he would love to have Tom back to continue to play the part of Carnaby!

According to HeyUGuys, the image of Tom is part of a prequel comic book, created to give background on the movie.

Rhys Hayward’s debut feature, the WWII drama Grace and Danger, is getting the comic book prequel treatment in the vein of Inception’s The Cobol Job, and will give background for the dynamic in the soldier’s relationships as well as offer further context to the events depicted in the film.

The artist Miki has created the images below for the comic book, provisionally titled “Cool Blood Kill”, the first portrays Tom Felton’s character Carnaby and the second image is of Tom Sizemore and gives a good flavour of how the comic book will look. We previously posted some of the film’s storyboards as well as the poster for Grace and Danger and we’re looking forward to seeing more of the film when a trailer comes out.

Hayward has assembled a great cast for the film which includes Tom Felton, Tom Sizemore, Leo Gregory, Tom Hopper, David Leon, Joel Beckett and Anna Langner.

To view other photos from the book, read the post from HeyUGuys.
