Random Acts of Felton – it’s back, baby!

A few years ago Feltbeats.com worked with fans on one of the biggest birthday projects so far for Tom Felton – Random Acts of Felton! We received thousands of birthday wishes and hundreds of “Random Acts” geared toward spreading the true Felton spirit. Tom loved it! We decided it was so successful and well-received that we were going to do it again!

That’s right, folks! Random Acts of Felton is back!

We believe Tom is someone who always brings light and cheer into the hearts of his fans and those around him. He is giving and kind to everyone he meets – and we feel like spreading that spirit as far as possible!

So, we’re asking fans to commit a Random Act in the Tom Felton spirit, and tell us all about it on our new Tumblr! Then, we will present the website to Tom for his birthday.

What is a Random Act of Felton?

Here are some amazing ideas for Random Acts that fans did last time we ran this project:

– A young girl raised over $200 dollars in Tom’s name, and donated it to charity (You rock Allison!).

– A fan helped out at a senior center.

– Fans spent time with kids with cancer, brightening up their day.

– Fans baked cakes and food for others, helping to cheer them up.

– On fan distributed Tom Felton / Feltbeats fliers at the mall.

….. And sooooo much more!

Tom Felton takes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Earlier today, Tom responded to the many challenges he received to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. He posted two videos to his Instagram account, where he challenged Steven Gordon, From the Rough co-star Paul Hodge and Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint to take the challenge as well.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge was created in order to raise funds and awareness for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALSA). ALS (commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) is a form of Motor Neuron Disease, which is neurodegenerative and ultimately fatal.

You can watch Tom’s videos below.

So far the challenge has raised over $88.5 million to date for the ALSA! You can donate over at the ALSA website. You can also check out Feltbeats.com’s challenge to Tom below!

Feltbeats.com and Charles Baker challenge Tom Felton to the Ice Bucket Challenge

Over the past couple of days, the Admins for Feltbeats.com have all taken part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! Bets, Lori, Sandra and I all doused ourselves in icy cold water to raise awareness, support and money for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALSA).

And as you can see, we have all nominated our favourite wand-weilding, In-N-Out eating, guitar-strumming Brit to accept the challenge, and today so did Tom’s Murder in the First co-star Charles Baker (also known as Skinny Pete from Breaking Bad).

Tom now officially has 24 hours to complete the challenge and/or donate to the cause.

In his video, Charles says he has nominated Tom because he wants to know, “whether witches really melt in water”. (We don’t have the heart to tell him Tom’s new film Ghosts of the Pacific features water preeeeetty prominently… haha!)

Lori has nominated the entire Feltforce, and Sandra has also nominated Tom’s Harry Potter co-star Matthew Lewis to accept the challenge.

So far the challenge has raised over $22.9 million dollars for the ALSA! Amazing stuff. You can donate over at the ALSA website.

Exclusive: Feltbeats.com Interviews Tom Felton Part 3

As always, it wouldn’t be a Feltbeats interview without asking Tom Felton a few silly questions, and our latest interview was no exception. Earlier today we asked Tom’s fans what they thought his answers would be to 8 specific questions. Here are Tom’s responses.

Feltbeats: Have you ever thought you were getting punked?

Tom: Not really. Thankfully. Please don’t punk me.

Feltbeats: What’s something you think about when your alone in your car?

Tom: How cool I must look holding the steering wheel with one hand. I listen to a lot of talk radio so I’m usually chiming along with that.Timber.

Feltbeats: Favorite color socks to wear?

Tom: Any! Just to find matching socks is a task.

Feltbeats: Have you watched your Star Wars DVD’s yet?

Tom: Yes. No. The first one.

Feltbeats: Night owl or morning person?

Tom: Night owl.

Feltbeats: What’s one thing you can’t leave your house without?

Tom: My keys. But I’ve locked myself out a few times recently so…

Feltbeats: What is the weirdest thing in your refrigerator?

Tom: My girlfriend has started buying sauerkraut and it freaks me out.

Feltbeats: What’s your favorite American Candy?

Tom: M&M chocolate

A huge thank you to Tom for taking the time out of his busy schedule to answer our questions. If you would like to check out any of our other interviews with Tom, click here for our video archive!
