Tom Felton and his new ONYX RCR motorbike

This one started with a simple ask from Tom Felton:
“Make it look like Draco would ride this.” 🪄🐍

With Harry Potter and the Cursed Child running in New York this year, we couldn’t help but imagine the perfect way for Tom Felton to get around the city, in between shows, rehearsals, and long nights near Times Square. Seeing this bike posted up just steps from the theater, surrounded by the energy of NYC, felt like one of those full-circle moments.

A lot of us grew up watching Harry Potter film series, seeing Tom Felton grow up on screen as Draco Malfoy. And whether you’re a kid watching those films for the first time or an adult who’s loved them for years, that character is part of your timeline.

Tom’s in New York right now doing show after show on Broadway, starring in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, with barely any time off, and we were genuinely grateful he carved out a window to meet with us just hours before heading back in.

Fun fact: Tom Felton has been riding an ONYX RCR 72V for years.

He picked up an RCR 72V back in LA and has been a real two-wheel guy long before this moment. A few weeks ago he reached out because New York traffic is no joke, and he wanted a better way to move through the city. The answer was obvious.

Set him up with an RCR 80V.

But we didn’t want to send him anything stock.

We wanted this to feel like something you’d see once and immediately say, “Yeah… Draco would ride that.”

So we built him a true 1 of 1.

All five bolt-on kit pieces, side panels, battery cover, front splash guard, tail fender, wrapped in a chrome vinyl called Venom Green. Too easy to do black. This needed to stand out. That Slytherin energy, but still unmistakably ONYX. We teamed up with Tapia Seats for a custom seat and kept the silhouette clean, modern, and faithful to the platform.

What I’ll remember most is how familiar it felt for him right away.

He already knew the RCR language, so showing him the 80V felt like catching up with a friend. More power. More speed. More performance. CarPlay. He connected his phone immediately and was all-in on the tech.

And then he said something that hit.

He told us these bikes are good for mental health. That after long days, the last thing he wants is to get in a car and drive. He wants an outlet. A way to get lost. A way to breathe.

That’s ONYX.

Not for everyone.

But for the ones who get it, it’s everything.

Welcome to the 80V, Tom. 🐍⚡️
