MTV.com To Stream Live From The Red Carpet At The New York Harry Potter Premiere

Tonight, Feltfans can check out MTV.com’s coverage of the US Deathly Hallows Premiere:

We’ll have a live show from the red carpet in New York at 6pm ET. It will run until at least 7 (longer if the carpet goes longer). It will be wall to wall interviews with Dan, Emma, Rupert, Tom, Ralph Fiennes, David Yates, David Heyman, Steve Kloves, and more.  We’ll also be asking the folks questions fans twitter to us (me at joshuahorowitz, MTVNews) with the hashtag #askpotter

Official Photo Of Hagrid’s Hut Released By Universal

Feltbeats.com recieved an official photo from Universal Orlando today, depicting Hagrid’s Hut as part of  The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

An authentic replica from the Harry Potter films, guests will pass by Hagrid’s Hut on their way to the Flight of the Hippogriff family-friendly roller coaster. Just before they board, Hagrid instructs guests on how to properly approach and fly on a Hippogriff.

As we have previously reported, Tom Felton will be attending the Grand Opening scheduled for June 18th, as well as multiple co-stars from the Harry Potter franchise.

New Robin Hood Tax Commercial

As we previously reported, Tom Felton worked with director Richard Curtis (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Love Actually, Bridget Jones, etc.) to film a video to help promote awareness of a proposed “Robin Hood tax.” According to the London Standard, the “Robin Hood tax” is an idea proposed by a group of more than 300 economists and businessmen, where there would be a small tax on financial transactions that occur only between large institutions. There are estimates it could raise more than £250 to £450 billion a year worldwide. This money could then be used to help fight global climate change.

The spot was officially released today, and although Tom has no speaking role, he can be seen multiple times throughout.
