UPDATED: Tom Felton ogles food and talks music in Japan

UPDATE: I knew you guys would come through for us! A proper translation that makes an infinitely more amount of sense from one of my favorite artists, yumekutteikt. Thanks, girl!

*~*~*~*~*

An email came from Tom-kun afterward, saying he wants our support to release his songs under the Japanese label if possible.
Because his short music live at Welcome Party(at Tokyo) was well-received, we responded him that we may develop a plan for music live with photo session in his next Japan tour as well.

Seemingly no additional shooting of DH2 is required for his part, so he’ll have some time until July; but once the release date of the film approaches we Japanese most likely have to compete with other host countries as the worldwide demand for his presence will get intensified. In that sense, your most passionate support will make the difference as I believe that carrying out his music live will delight Tom the most. Or we may capture his live music performance on DVD, if possible.

We still have to thoroughly consider locations and backup bands and as such in order to fulfill our plan yet, but I believe with confidence that we can make it real.

So everyone, speak loud and let’s draw him back to Japan!

Now, here’s another treasured photo. Tom and John absorbed in watching teppanyaki of Hida beef. Sorry for the low rez. Actually, the restaurant was closed already but they reopened for Tom who arrived later than initially scheduled. Our deepest gratitude here.

While we knew Tom had a fabulous time in Japan, it seems he’s taken fan requests to heart and/or realized the viable market the island nation actually is. In an email to his Japanese handler Sovjapan, Tom relayed an interest in releasing his music on the isle half-way across the world from his native United Kingdom. If all goes well, it looks like Tom is also interested in performing said music live.

I think. My translation charms aren’t the best.

My bad translation of the original Japanese (have a better one? PLEASE leave it in the comments below. Thanks!):

Then came an email from TOM-kun, we want to help your own songs released on the Japanese label, if possible, he says.
WELCOME to the fans at the Tribe can show the party has also been well received, since the time you are encouraged LIVE + in the same project is also like a photo session with, TOM you said.

Additional shooting people PART2 so are unlikely until July, but time seems to have gathered from around the world demand publishing approach and once the countries have to do to compete with those in Japan. Leads to the realization of the all too eager requests that sense, LIVE right now that means that you are happy, for the first TOM I think. Then if you can live DVD’s you may as well be.
Given the location and including a backing band, but careful planning should be promoted, certainly confident can achieve.

Regards to everyone loud TOM Japan 引Ki寄Semashou you.

Now, one more treasured photos. Watched with interest the Hida beef teppanyaki is Tom and John. Sorry for low resolution. Wow, once again became a closed shop is a late arrival TOM opened for me. Thank you for everything.

Sovjapan also blogged a new photo of Tom ogling his dinner as it was being prepared. Fascinating.

Tom Felton’s Appeal for Zimbabwe’s Children

At a recent screening of Tom’s latest Harry Potter adventure, there was shown beforehand the poignant documentary Zimbabwe’s Children. Watch as Tom humbly realizes that the life of millions of children such as those in the film is without hope of an education, decent jobs, or a rise out of poverty as he beseeches the audience to help these children receive an education and childhood of their own.

Besides opening your pocketbooks with as little as 30 pounds a year to help take a child out of the work force and into a classroom where they belong, you too can host your own fundraiser screening of this film. Education is something many people take for granted, but for those in many areas of the world, only a dream never to be attained. Help them achieve their dreams.

Tom Felton, as billed.

As Tom took part in the HP Promotional Extravaganza this past month, we received many reports from various interviewers on what Tom is like as they gave copy to the words Tom had to say. Yet, as most often happens in the world of performance, there are people behind the scenes helping to make these interviews happen, and what these people see during these interviews is often a story left untold

As Tom gave answer to multiple questions on one particular day of interview upon interview, a lone voice stood by silently, waiting to give voice to what they saw later after their work was done.

This is Leanna’s story.

Draco and Me

I have several jobs. All of which I’m blessed enough to enjoy. My favourite of them is writing books, of course. Another occasional job is doing background/extra or stand-in work for film and TV. Another is stage managing at a small TV studio which specializes in media tours, where I’m the lone human in a room, on a headset, with famous people. I’ve met a lot of really interesting personalities in the past few years. I spent a 14 hour day on set for the latest Ben Stiller film last week, which was cool. But only a few of my experiences get me really, really, jumping-up-and-down excited when going into the studio for a media tour. For example, The Muppets. (Follow that link to see a ridiculous happy Leanna).

And Monday, I got another wish fulfilled; to meet a cast member of Harry Potter. And not just any cast member, but a Slytherin. I said to my boss when I first started working at the studio a few years ago; “If there is ANY Harry Potter press tours that come through here, I will never forgive you if you don’t bring me in to work it.” Thankfully we’re friends enough for me to say that, and he was good on his word. And so I present to you: Me and Tom Felton, Draco Malfoy.

Could there be any more of a SQUEE expression on my face? What isn’t visible is my Slytherin pin I was wearing in House solidarity. Major House points. In all seriousness, Tom Felton is one of the nicest guys in the world, gracious, kind, easy to chat with, funny as hell, great in interviews and an all around stand-up young man who the world has watched grow up. That’s a lot of pressure but he’s handled it beautifully. He’s genuinely humbled and grateful for the opportunity, but also excited for his next projects. (Like his music (!) and a Planet of the Apes prequel, Rise of the Apes). Oh, yeah, and he’s really cute. I made my friends in The Group That Shall Not Be Named very jealous. I can’t wait to watch the midnight showing with the TGTSNBN crew this week, now 700 strong! Wow!

It makes my day when stars live up to their billing and deserve every bit of their success. These films feature the best casting in the world, and it was fascinating to hear about the close-knit dynamic of the cast, the incredible journey these films have taken, bringing the world along on pages and screen thanks to J. K. Rowling’s genius.

Cheers, Tom, for being a consummate gentleman and a major highlight of my year. 🙂

Too Much Choice for Tom Felton is Captured for Posterities Sake

For those of you that follow Tom’s Twitter, you may remember how the poor lad was all upset that he wasn’t able to take a guitar home with him after spending some quality time in a local guitar shop.

Tom Felton: hey all!! went to a guitar shop in tokyo today, wanted to take everything home with me! left with nothing however! #toomuchchoice

Thanks to one of Tom’s handlers in Japan, SovJapan, we now have a photo of Tom and his choices courtesy of their blog at Yahoo.

Loosely, and I mean loosely translated from the original Japanese:

I received an email immediately after returning from the TOM-kun.
Anyway, I had a great time of human Koto. If you come to pick you off, you better come to the autograph session from a distance, you wait a long time and people had to say hello to everyone and please all.

His feelings always come back again next year, and was’d live to see many people as possible.

Inconvenience to everyone that the clumsiness of many Harikore Everyone has repented, we have also seen improvements again. I will apologize for this occasion.

And now prepare to enter the venue for next year more and more excitement. There is also live to dance I do not mind they’ve been to, some insecurity.存Jimasu there that you will take on a big heart to everyone’s understanding. So, enjoy the next year, please spend a wonderful Christmas.

I will put up a shot with a single guitar shop in Shibuya alone.

Thanks for sharing, sovjapan!
