Tom Felton’s Films A United Kingdom and Stratton Shortlisted for National Film Awards – Voting Now Open

Tom’s movies A United Kingdom and Stratton have both been shortlisted for nomination to the UK’s National Film Awards. Stratton is shortlisted for Best Thriller, and A United Kingdom is up for five awards including Best British Film, Best Director and Best Actor, where David Oyelowo is pitted against Harry Potter alumnus Daniel Radcliffe for Now You See Me 2, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them‘s Eddie Redmayne.

On their official website, The National Film Academy posted:

The National Film Academy has today announced the nominations for the ceremony, which takes place in London on March 29 and will be broadcast on Sky Showcase, Sky channel 261.
Over 1.9 million fans cast their vote across 18 categories to decide the nominations and movie fans can now vote for the winners on the official Academy website at www.nationalfilmawards.org

Voting officially commences (23/01/17 until the 23/03/17) with winners of each category announced at the star-studded National Film Awards 2017 awards ceremony taking place on the 29th of March 2017 and televised for broadcast on Sky Showcase (Sky 261, Freesat 402, Freeview 254).

Tickets for the NFA 2017 are out on sale now.

Release date is 3rd May 2017.

Tom Felton’s film ‘Megan Leavey’ Gets U.S. Release Date – Bleecker Street partnered with LD Entertainment

Bleecker Street announced it has secured U.S. distribution rights to Gabriela Cowperthwaite’s true-life story, MEGAN LEAVEY, from LD Entertainment for a June 9, 2017 release. The film is based on the life of Leavey (Kate Mara), a young marine corporal in the K9 unit whose unique discipline and bond with her military combat dog saved many lives during their deployment in Iraq.
