Tom Felton to attend Star Trek Fan Days. No, really.

According to Official Pix, Tom is scheduled to make a one day appearance in Texas for the Star Trek Fan Days on Saturday, Oct. 23rd.

He is listed as a “Guest of Honor” for the event where fans may purchase autographs ($30) or professional photos ($35) with the man himself. Tickets are limited so fans are requested to arrive early as they are on a first come, first serve basis.

The event is to be held at the Plano Center in Plano, Texas and will run on Saturday from 11am to 6pm local time, and Sunday 11am to 4pm. Other stars scheduled to appear include William Shatner, Tia Carrere, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, and Christopher Lloyd. General Admission is $10 while a Priority Pass is $30.

Fan Days is affiliated with Comic Con, International which hosts SciFi conventions across the United States. You may read more information about Fan Days at their website.

Tom was originally scheduled to attend Ring*Con in Bonn, Germany, but due to filming commitments had to cancel. However, his “Harry Potter”co-star’s James and Oliver Phelps will be in attendance instead. You ever want to meet James and Oliver Phelps in real life? Now’s your chance! We are giving away tickets for Ring*Con, the biggest fantasy convention in Europe.

We are raffling 1 golden ticket (including one autograph and appropriate picture of each star guest at Ring*Con 2010, a Ring*Con shirt, pin, lanyard and seat in the first rows) and 3 times 2 weekend tickets for the con which is held during 15th – 17th October.

If you are interested, please send your full name, address, birthday and e-mail address to feltbeats.winticketsrc@googlemail.com .  The deadline is 24th September 2010, and you must be a resident of continental Europe (or right enough or purchase airfare) to enter.  Winners are drawn according at random, and will be notified from us.

Please remember, we are only giving away the tickets. Arrival and accommodation is on your own. The tickets can’t be sold or given to somebody else. If you are under age, you also need permission from your parents.

Besides, the Phelps twins, Natalia Tena, Louis Cordes, George Harris and Nick Shirm from the Harry Potter movies will also be in attendance.

The program of the event can be seen here: program of Ring*Con ,  but is subject to change. Dates for autographs and photo shootings are not known yet and will be delivered during the convention.

The organizers of the Ring*Con had on Wednesday the cancellation of Tom announce. They wrote on their website :

Unfortunately Tom Felton has just cancelled his appearance at RingCon 2010 due to filming commitments in Louisiana from October until November. Tom Felton was looking forward to attending RingCon, but jobs come first. He and RingCon apologize for the cancellation.

While it has not been officially announced that Tom has won a role in “From the Rough”, it has been public knowledge the film starts shooting in Louisiana come mid-October. As soon as we have definition confirmation on this or a different film, we will let you know.

Draco Malfoy in Limbo: IGN interviews Tom Felton at ComicCon, asking where Draco Malfoy’s Character is after his HBP turning point:

 

Also, a new video has surfaced from The WB at ComicCon. In it, Albert Lawrence interviews Tom Felton. Tom Felton tells him that he was “a ComicCon virgin” and that they’ve broken him in very gently. Among other information that he imparts, Tom also says that, even though they’re keeping the movie under lock-and-key, he’s sure that these two movies are going to be the best out of the lot.

There is also some new footage, at least I’ve not seen it before, at the end of the video.

“Yes, I’m young again!” Full Audio of Tom Felton’s ComicCon Interview Now Available

Thanks to SnitchSeeker, we now have the Full Audio interview that Tom Felton did with the Harry Potter fansites. Remember that our own Feltbeats reporter Amy_Marie97 was in the room, and you can see her video interview here.

Some things that he discusses – that we haven’t heard before in the previous post with Amy’s videos – are the Epilogue, the Malfoy Manor and Forbidden Forest scenes, the annual cricket match that Gryffindor and Slytherin have (Slytherin won this year, by the way. GO SLYTHERIN!), the not-at-all-off-topic, really, Brokeback Mountain, and much more!
