Tom Felton announced for Test Match Special Anniversary Match

Test Match Special tweeted yesterday:

Cricket commentator Jonathan Agnew and legendary batsman Geoffrey Boycott will lead a star-studded cricket match in Leeds to mark Test Match Special’s 60th birthday and you could be there.
Going head-to-head in a Twenty20 match, two teams will be made up of TMS commentators past and present, former England cricket stars and cricket-loving celebrities.
The event, which takes place at Sports Park Weetwood (part of the University of Leeds) on Thursday 24 August, will feature ex-England players Michael Vaughan and Phil ‘Tuffers’ Tufnell, who will captain the teams, along with celebrities such as Greg James of Radio 1, Harry Judd from McFly, Tom Felton who played Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty, comedians Andy Parsons and Dom Joly, actor and dancer Adam Garcia and athlete Yohan Blake.
England cricket stars taking to the crease include Graeme Swann, Simon Hughes, Ebony Rainford Brent, Charlotte Edwards, Lydia Greenway, Isa Guha and Ed Smith, while Test Match Special commentators hoping to hit a six include Alison Mitchell, Simon Mann, Charles Dagnall and Fazeer Mohammed.
Commentators on the day will include Henry Blofeld and Dan Norcross, plus plenty of special guests such as Downton Abbey star Jim Carter and Dame Tanni-Grey Thompson. Stars of TMS will also be umpiring with Vic Marks, James Taylor and even Geoffrey Boycott officiating.

The match will take place at Sports Park Weetwood, University of Leeds on 24th August 2017 at 3 pm !

Tom Felton is an English actor best known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series. Felton began appearing in commercials when he was 8 years old for companies such as Commercial Union and Barclaycard. He made his screen debut in the role of Peagreen Clock in The Borrowers (1997), and he portrayed Louis T Leonowens in Anna and the King (1999). He rose to prominence for his role as Draco Malfoy in the film adaptions of the best-selling Harry Potter fantasy novels by JK Rowling. His performances in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 won him two consecutive MTV Movie Awards for Best Villain in 2010 and 2011. Following the conclusion of the series in 2011, Felton appeared in the 2011 film Rise of the Planet of the Apes, a reboot of the Planet of the Apes series. He had roles in minor films, appearing in the 2012 films The Apparition and From the Rough, and he starred as James Ashford in the critically acclaimed period drama Belle (2013), followed by roles in In Secret (2014) and Against the Sun (2014). Felton’s 2016 films include the epic historical drama Risen, alongside Joseph Fiennes, and the period biopic A United Kingdom, alongside David Oyelowo and Rosamund Pike. In 2016, he appeared on The Flash as CSI Julian Albert / Doctor Alchemy, a fellow crime-scene investigator at the Central City Police Department who is suspicious of Barry Allen.
