Tom Felton Reminisces About Working With Daniel Radcliffe In New Article

In a new article from  musicrooms.net, Tom Felton talks about working with Daniel Radcliffe, and why it has been one of the best experiences of his life.

The two stars appear alongside each other in the Harry Potter movies, the final instalment of which is due out later this year. Tom plays Draco Malfoy while Daniel is boy wizard Harry, and despite their characters being enemies in the franchise, the pair get along famously in real life.

All those involved in the franchise are gearing up for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, with Tom admitting saying goodbye to the series is hard. He’s particularly going to miss Daniel as he’s learned so much from him.

“There was a great sense of excitement on set always. It was always great working with Daniel because he has a fantastic excitement and passion for what he does,” Tom explained. “Even when he’s not needed in a scene he’s always there behind the camera. It’s always great working with Daniel and I’ll sincerely miss that.”

Tom, 23, has a number of memories from shooting the movies which will stay with him forever. He can vividly recall attending the premieres for the early films, admitting he had no idea quite how popular they would become.

“I’ll never forget some of the early memories of walking through the great hall as an 11 year old child, or however old I was, so those memories will always hold with me,” he said in a video posted on marieclaire.co.uk. “As well as some of the early premieres, they blew me away really and I had no idea what I was letting myself in for but I loved every minute.”

Official Teaser Trailer of “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” with Tom Felton

The official teaser trailer of Tom’s upcoming film “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” has been published. You can see a little bit of Tom at 1:10 , but the whole trailer is great.

An origin story in the true sense of the word, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is set in present day San Francisco. The film is a reality-based cautionary tale — a science fiction/science-fact blend where mankind’s hubris leads to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy. Oscar(R)-winning visual effects house WETA Digital – employing certain of the groundbreaking technologies developed for “Avatar” – will render, for the first time ever in the film series, photo-realistic apes rather than costumed actors.

The release date in US is August 5th, 2011 – Official site of the film: http://apeswillrise.com

Thousands line up to meet Tom Felton in Australia

Thanks to the lovely and talented @rotae, we have this cute little (shall we say diminutive?) article about Tom Felton at Supanova in Australia. They report that over two days more than 20,000 fans showed up at the show, and “most of them were there for one reason: Tom Felton.”

But what’s the deal with them calling him “diminutive”? I think in Australian that must mean “badass.” No other explanation.

Draco’s a Supa star attraction

MORE than 8000 popular culture fans poured through the gates at the RNA showgrounds yesterday for the Supanova convention.

And most of them were there for one reason: Tom Felton.

The diminutive Harry Potter star, who became a household name playing villain Draco Malfoy, had hundreds queuing for most of the day for him to scribble his name on their possessions.

Hamilton’s Bella Panettiere was one of the lucky fans who managed to brave the crowds for a quick chat.

“It was fantastic to meet him,” the 16-year-old said.

“He was so lovely and down to earth, he asked how I was and said how much he loved Brisbane. It’s great to know he is so committed to his fans.”

Bella and her friends waited more than 90 minutes to see him, which is much less time than fans would have spent on Saturday, with crowd numbers exceeding 15,000.
