Another HBP review: Tom Felton doesn’t need dialogue to stand out

Thanks to Eva, we have a translation of a nice Czech review of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” In it, they have very nice things to say about Tom Felton – as is typical with these reviews, it seems!

Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy has most notably improved his acting. Michael Gambon and Alan Rickman do their usual outstanding jobs. Daniel Radcliffe and most of the other ‘kids’ got better already in the previous installment.

However, Tom Felton’s improvement really stands out. The script doesn’t provide him with much dialogue, but he doesn’t need it. Movements and gestures are sufficient for him. His Draco is so anguished by inner demons that at some moments you can’t help but feel sorry for him. In fact, he performed so well, he draws the attention to himself even when standing next to Alan Rickman.

Thanks, Eva!

New Photos and a Fan Video with Tom Felton at Dragon*Con

We have new photos featuring Tom from Dragon*Con from our lovely, erstwhile Feltbeats Army members Southernbets. I can’t remember if she said someone else was holding her camera for these or not, but thank you if you did! I also found a few press ones, and as soon as I can get them unmarked, I’ll let you know, but first, here’s a fan video made of the event. YouTuber TheMiraCorp did a compilation video of practically everything they encountered at the Con. You can see Tom for a little bit at around the two minute mark. He was sitting next to Charisma Carpenter!!!! I <3 her...
