Trailer and US Release Date for Tom Felton’s film “Some Other Woman”

Do you remember? Over 2 years ago Tom Felton was in the Cayman Islands and filmed “Some Other Woman”. (we reported here)

The trailer for Tom’s new thriller, Some Other Woman has been released. Directed by Joel David Moore, the movie will be released to Regal Theatres on January 5, 2024.

Harry Potter franchise star Tom Felton, Amanda Crew (Silicon Valley), and Ashley Greene (the Twilight franchise) are giving us some very heavy Single White Female vibes in the trailer for Some Other Woman, which Collider can exclusively share today. Directed by Joel David Moore (Spiral), the psychological thriller, which is set to release only in Regal Theatres on January 5, 2024, follows one woman’s inner struggle as she begins to question everything she thinks she knows about her world and the loved ones she holds dear.
In the trailer, viewers are introduced to Eve (Crew), a woman who travels alongside her husband, Peter (Felton) on a work trip to a remote island. While the tropical location seems like paradise, Eve soon gets cabin fever as she carries out the same routine day in and day out. While Peter wants to settle in and build a life along the island’s sandy shores, Eve can’t help but feel uneasy about the whole thing. When she starts seeing a woman (Greene) who is seemingly stalking her and her husband, Eve’s brain goes into a sort of psychosis where she has a challenging time deciphering fact from fiction. With a similar figure and brown hair, the two women look eerily alike and mind games between them both make it hard for the audience to separate their realities. Willing to do anything to hold her marriage and life together, Eve knows that her only choice is to stop the stranger before she takes everything.

Tom Felton in new Uber Eats commercial

Tom Felton has landed himself in deep trouble after feeling nostalgic for his old Hogwarts days. At least, that’s what happens in the actor’s new commercial with Uber Eats.
The Harry Potter alum stars in the food delivery company’s new video ad for its “Get almost, almost anything” campaign, which dropped on 14 September. In the clip, Felton is seen living in suburbia and reminiscing about his time as Draco Malfoy, as he stares at a portrait of his brooding former self.
He takes his chances and types “magic” into the Uber Eats app. Shortly after, a wand appears at his doorstep, floating out of an Uber Eats delivery bag. That’s when Felton’s neighbour, Jim, bids him good morning. After seeing Felton’s newly-acquired magic skills, he asks Felton to make his pesky garbage pile of leaves disappear. However, the former wizard appears to be quite rusty, and accidentally makes Jim disappear instead.
Felton’s neighbours then launch a search party to find Jim, while the Harry Potter star reels with guilt. He quickly becomes a main suspect, as TV news stations report Felton is wanted by police “for magic”.
The ad ends with Felton’s face pressed up against a police car windshield, his hands behind his back. Over the clip, the text for the campaign reads: “Magic, no. Ice magic, yes.” The alternate ending then shows Felton enjoying a bowl of ice cream, with Cottee’s Ice Magic chocolate topping. If only he had ordered Ice Magic, instead of actual magic.

Tom Felton was at LeakyCon in Chicago last weekend.

On Saturday Tom gave a little concert. Thanks to THarms for recording and uploading the videos.

At the convention he also met Chris Rankin aka Percy Weasley and Stanislaw Janewski aka Viktor Krum.

Tom Felton Appears At Fan Expo Denver

Last weekend at the Colorado Convention Center, pop culture fans of all ages reveled in the excitement of Fan Expo Denver! Such stars as Hayden Christensen, Henry Winkler, Bonnie Wright, and the casts of Scream and Vacation met fans, signed autographs, posed for photos and attended panels all weekend!

Normally when we attend a con, we have months to plan and Tom knows we are attending. When Tom was announced last minute for Fan Expo Denver, it was the perfect opportunity to surprise him! In life we get so few opportunities to surprise the important people in our lives, and this one couldn’t have gone any better! With the help of Kelsey from the T22penpals who distracted Tom, and filmed the interaction, it was pulled off without a hitch!

I also had an opportunity to present Tom with one of our 15th Anniversary tshirts! If you would like to get your own, they are available at the Feltbeats Redbubble shop!

Tom was gracious as always, and took time to make it a memorable experience for all who chose to meet him! He even photo bombed a couple of fan pictures with Bonnie Wright since she was set up next to him!

On Sunday we were joined at the con by another member of the Penpals, Meeshrose and her husband Cory! Tom was presented with gifts from the Penpals and asked to borrow Kelseys Ukelele for an impromptu perfomance at his upcoming panel! There may have been a little peer pressure involved from us, but it was all in good fun!

The panel itself was wonderful with fans asking multiple questions that have never been asked before! Tom closed out the panel by serenading the crowd with one of his favorite McFly songs and the crowd went wild! On a personal note, I have waited 14 years to hear him sing live, and when exiting the panel actual burst into tears I was so overwhelmed. So proud of Tom!

What a weekend of memories. It just solidifies why we are all such a fan of this kind, generous, and talented man! If you get a chance to see him at an event near you, we highly recommend it! We also hope to meet you at an event in the near future!

We will leave you with a quote from Tom’s panel. “I’m a fan of the fandom. If we could treat everyone like we do here at a con, outside of here, the world would be a much better place.”
