Tom Felton Discusses HBP DVD Extras and Playing with Cameras with ITN

Thanks to TomFeltonFansGermany for uploading this clip from ITN of their report on the DVD treatment Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has received.

In the clip we see snid-bits of Tom from the DVD itself, most notably from Behind the Cameras with James Phelps, before we are treated to the interview wherein Tom discusses how the cast became more involved this time around.

A quote:

Tom Felton who plays Draco Malfoy said: “We had special effects, stunts and props. It was the first time that they’d ever come to us and said ‘look we want to shoot something really substantial for the DVD. We want to really go behind the scenes and not just do a little tour, we want all the cast to be involved’.

He added: “We spent a couple of months going round, we were passing cameras back and forth. We had a great time”.

An Epic Backstage Interview with Tom Felton at BBC Switch Live

A full clip in high quality of Tom accepting the Favourite Flick Award at the BBC’s Switch Live for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has now appeared online. While we’ve seen him give his acceptance speech before, also included is a short interview we haven’t seen that Tom gave backstage immediately following. To quote Tom, it’s “epic!”

Smile, Tom Felton, You’re at Slughorn’s Christmas Party!

Thanks to the Leaky Cauldron, there is a new preview video featuring a quite camp Daniel Radcliffe extolling the virtues of the Ultimate Collector’s editions of the Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets. Within the short video are a variety of behind-the-scenes clips from Half-Blood Prince. At the 30 second mark you can catch a glimpse of Tom smiling at his friend Daniel accompanied by Argus Filch actor David Bradley on the set of Slughorn’s Christmas party.

I won’t say what they do to Tom in the clip from Prisoner of Azkaban. The sound effects had me laughing too hard. 😉

New Tom Felton Interview from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Thanks to Universal we now have a new short video featuring Tom announcing the opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida. While the video of Tom himself is not new, the voice over of Tom answering questions accompanied by artwork of the park is.

The park will be open, as Tom said, in spring of 2010. Enter for a chance to win tickets to the grand opening at Universal Orlando Resort.
