Tom Felton to Talk Cricket on Sky Sports 1 in Honor of Harry Potter’s Birthday

Tom Felton is scheduled to appear LIVE at 9am on Sky Sports 1 Cricket AM tomorrow, July 31st as part of Harry Potter’s 30th Birthday celebrations. Yes, Harry’s turning 30 according to canon!

According to the Cricket Am (or do they mean Quidditch AM?) website:

As part of Harry Potter’s birthday celebrations, Matt and Sarah-Jane are joined in the studio by none other than Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the cinematic serialisation of JK Rowling’s fantasy novels.

Draco – the seeker for Slytherin no less – is a dab hand at Quidditch but can Tom match his feats on the cricket pitch? And what’s it like to be part of a global phenomenon? We’ll find out.

Tom is joined on the sofa by a star who has produced plenty of wizardry in the middle for England – Mark Butcher.

As soon as video is made available from this live broadcast, we’ll let you know.

Let’s all scream at Tom Felton, shall we? On 3: 1, 2 …

Our real excuse for posting this video was so we could go “hey, we found new photos of Tom at San Diego’s Comic Con.” But in actuality, it’s because the video PopCandiesTV has of Tom being screamed at by fans as he left the event was just too cute not to share.

Enjoy.

Tom Felton Helps Friend Sam Roman with Music Video

Recently, Tom tweeted about a new music video his friend and musical collaborator Sam Roman released via Sam’s YouTube account. In a conversation with Sam, we learned that Tom helped him in the early stages of the video when Sam was still figuring out what would work or not.

I ran Tom through the script when I got it because obviously I don’t have much experience with things like that. He really liked the end result, and tweeted it for me! We filmed the video throughout LA. Sadly it was the week after Tom was there so we didn’t manage to see each other. It’s a shame we couldn’t get him a cameo, I could have maybe been pushing him in the trolley or something!

The video features a large amount of symbolism through the words and images. What do you think the plant in the trolley is symbolic for? Would the message be different if he were pushing Tom instead?

Sam Roman’s debut album “Born to be the King” will be available to buy exclusively from www.samroman.com in the coming weeks. Sam is also working with Tom as a producer on re-recordings of favorite past songs, and a few new pieces Tom has in his arsenal to be released. As soon as more information regarding this collaboration is made public, we will let you know.
