Tom Felton talks about Valentine’s Day and Two-Year Anniversary plans

Tom Felton talks with MTV.com about his Valentine’s Day and Two-Year Anniversary plans with girlfriend Jade

Congratulations to Tom Felton and his girlfriend, Jade Olivia, who celebrated their two year anniversary Wednesday! When we got a chance to talk to Tom while he was shooting his new film “The Apparition” in Berlin, he admitted that the two years has passed very quickly.

“I can’t believe how quickly this time has flown,” he said with a laugh.

Having an anniversary and Valentine’s Day in such close proximity to one another may seem like more of a problem than a gift, but with Tom filming far away from her for the next few weeks, it is working out in their benefit. Tom said he had planned a romantic trip for the both of them to Vienna to celebrate the holiday of love, but has had to postpone it because he has been filming.

“I’m keeping my fingers crossed that there may be a chance that Jade might be able to come out for the weekend so we can spend Valentine’s Day together and try to make the most of our two year anniversary,” he said.

Tom kept quiet on what exactly he was thinking his plans would be (though we wouldn’t ruin the surprise even if he told us!), but according to his description of his own romanticism, we’re sure it will be something adorable and special.

Apparently Tom — unlike his character “Harry Potter” Draco Malfoy — is a sucker for romantic situations as much as the rest of us … or maybe even more so.

“I’d love to say I play it cool, but I am a young Casanova, my friend,” Tom admitted with a laugh. “I can’t help myself! What can you say? When you’re young and in love, what else can you do?”

And what exactly are his go-to gifts for Valentine’s Day?

“I’m a big fan of the two dozen roses and the kind of cheesy card to go with it,” he dished. “I can’t help myself.”

5 questions for Tom Felton in the German BRAVO

In its latest issue, BRAVO talks to the “Harry Potter” star about his girlfriend and his dream role as the bad guy.

Bravo: With “Harry Potter” you became world-famous over night. Do the girls stand in line for you now?

Tom: I actually get many love letters. But for two years now I have had a serious relationship – and I am faithful! My girlfriend’s name is Jade Olivia Gordon and she is twenty-two years old. We met at the “Harry Potter” set, where she works as the Stunt Coordinator’s Assistant.

Bravo: Is there sometimes also stress between you, because you are working together?

Tom: Often the shootings go from seven o’clock in the morning to 9 o’clock in the evening – fourteen hours long! Thus I do not have a lot of spare time. If I did not see Jade on the set, we would have no time with each other. Therefore, I am genuinely happy that we work together.

Bravo: You’ve been in front of the camera since your childhood. Does such a life also have disadvantages?

Tom:  At that time I found it dumb that I could never go on class trips. However, I was allowed to live my dream at the same time and could be a actor. I will, however, never lose the ground under my feet because I still have my old friends from former times. And none of them are interested in the fact that I’m acting.

Bravo: Did you ever meet hostility, because you are so famous?

Tom: Never! Naturally, I often see people on the road whispering, “Look, that is the person from ‘Harry Potter’!”  But nobody got nasty towards me. And if I should shave off my blond hair, nobody will recognize me anymore (laughs)!

Bravo: As Draco, you are a bad opponent in “Harry Potter.” Is it fun for you to play such a meany?

Tom: Sure! First, Draco always wanted to hunt and annoy Harry. Then, he goes totally crazy and wants to even kill humans! But he develops suddenly genuine feelings and repents for what he did. That is, for each actor, a dream role. I love Draco!
