Feltbeats.com was given special permission to record Tom’s interviews while he was in attendance at Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. This last set of videos are from his final Q&A session of the event, and thanks to Feltbeats Admin BSerLori and Feltbeats Army member SouthernBets, we were able to capture the hour long program on two separate cameras. So yes, I edited the best bits of Tom together, just for your enjoyment. 😉
Some highlights from this final session include a touching, memorable tribute to his Mum and Dad for letting him live his dream, a remarkably funny impression of Alan Rickman that had me dying in my seat, and a poignant, hilariously careful choice of words when talking wistfully about his good friend Daniel Radcliffe. But best of all, let’s not forget that birthday shout out he did for Feltbeats Webmaster Misha that included his thanks to her for starting this site and bringing all of us together.
UPDATE From Lilyginny27: Thee webcast can now be viewed in its entirety by clicking here. Tom can be seen starting around the 4:00 mark. As soon as the video is available for embedding, we will let you know. You can see a few more screencaps of Tom in the video by clicking here.
As Feltbeats.com has previously reported, Tom was an invited guest today at Universal Studio’s unveiling of the new attractions and release date for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Theme Park. Feltbeats.com Admin BSerLori was invited to attend the event, and has already given us the written synopsis of what was learned.
While the full webcast is not online yet, this video was taped on the Gryffindor set we have pics of Tom sitting on. In it is an introduction to the park by President of Universal Creative Mark Woodbury, Show Producer Paul Daurio, and Art Director from the films Alan Gilmore. Watch as they describe the park with a brief cgi “fly-through” of what it will eventually be.
Tom has been very excited about taking part in the unveiling of this new Harry Potter attraction, and his remarks are just the first of what will undoubtedly be many praising the parks features. Tom was even interviewed by the New York Times concerning the park.
Wizarding World is already receiving rave reviews from at least one contingency: the actors from the films. Tom Felton, who plays Harry’s towheaded nemesis Draco Malfoy, has visited the property twice, once when construction was just getting started and again in recent days.
“We always say on set, ‘If this place was real, it would be absolutely fantastic,’” he said in a telephone interview. “To actually walk into this world and be able to touch it and taste it and smell it – well, it’s just going to be fantastic.”
One potential aspect that will make the park more exciting for the fans is the possibility of the actors being seen in some way. According to one source, News4JAX:
There could even be new footage of Potter stars shot on actual sets from “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” A Universal spokesman declined comment on the issue, but the company was explicitly granted those privileges in its 2007 licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products Inc., according to the contract filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Whether any of this potential footage will feature Tom as Draco Malfoy is still anyone’s guess. Once the webcast featuring Tom expound on the glories of the new park is made available online, we’ll let you know.

Feltbeats.com was given special permission to record Tom’s interviews from his question and answer sessions while he was in attendance at Dragon*Con this past week in Atlanta, Georgia, USA – this means the videos are bigger, louder, and uncut.
Well, they’re cut, I mean, you can only upload a max of 10 minutes at a time on Youtube… but they’re… Oh, you know what I mean. 😉
Watch Tom’s entire interview as he answers some of the same questions he’s been asked before by fans and moderator alike. Listen as Tom discusses how much of a hot lady his “auntie” Helena Bonham Carter is, working with Alan Rickman and on-screen dad Jason Isaacs, how he used to look forward to filming the Fiendfyre sequence until he spent two weeks in a harness, receiving a letter from JK Rowling herself, and if you make it through the full six videos, don’t miss that little shout out at the end for his girls as he answers the question we all want to know.
Stay tuned for next week when we bring you video of Tom’s last Q & A session from the event. If you think this one is great, just wait.
