Video of Tom Felton & Dan Radcliffe discussing kisses in HBP

Video coverage of yesterday’s press junket for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince have hit the airwaves, and here are a couple for you.

A very nice one from BBC Newsbeat includes Tom and Dan Radcliffe dicussing the kissing that takes place in the Half-Blood Prince. You can view the video by clicking here.

UPDATE: Here is the BBC Newsbeat video courtesy of Elbenstein. Thanks!

From Virgin Media. You can see Tom but he doesn’t speak.

Also, remember the clip we showed you yesterday from GMTV? There is a slightly longer version of Tom’s appearance on the show, and you can watch it by clicking here.

Thanks to Elbenstein for the tips!

Tom Felton & Dan Radcliffe “have come far” according to Motion[Captured]

Another glowing review of Tom in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has just been released. This time it’s from Motion[Captured].

According to their website:

Tom Felton’s had a tough path in the series, playing Draco Malfoy, who started as a sort of stock creep, a baby-faced Jimmy Stewart with a haughty sneer. At this point, though, Malfoy’s grown up twisted, and he embraces a terrible assignment here, convinced he’s finally found a way to prove himself to be a better magician than Harry Potter, and possibly even better than his own father. Felton reveals real layers to Malfoy’s malice, though, and he and Radcliffe share a number of scenes that illuminate how far they’ve come as performers. In a strange way, these films have become the giant blockbuster equivalent of Michael Apted’s “7 Up” series in England, a chance to watch a wide range of English schoolkids move from childhood to adulthood as we watch, checking in every so often to see how much they’ve changed as well as how much they’ve stayed the same.

New Tom Felton pics from early fan showing of “Half-Blood Prince”

As the premiere looms on the horizon, reviews are rising from all corners for Tom’s latest film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This time we have it from the mouth of a fan at HP4u News. They call it the “best Potter film by far,” and highly recommend that fans “order your tickets ASAP.”

HP4u News had the lucky opportunity of coming across Tom in the crowd following the showing and had this to say concerning our erstwhile blonde about his role in the film, and his appreciation with the fans.

Brilliant roles played by Tom Felton who shines through in this one in his portrayal of Draco Malfoy, Harry’s all-time adversary; and Michael Gambon as Dumbledore who mentors Harry to reveal the dark secrets.

It was after the screening that all the ecstatic stars came out in the square and were rather more approachable than I would have imagined on any other occasions. Tom Felton was being hugely complimented on his brilliant performance, to which he was generously showing gratitude. All the cast members and the crew looked proud and happy, rightfully (I must say!) on how great the film has turned out to be.

Also included in the blog entry were some photos from after the screening. To see more of Tom from this event, check out our galleries.

Much Music Blog Credits Tom Felton’s Musical Talents

In anticipation for Tom Felton’s appearance on “Much On Demand,” Much Music’s Kate M. [who also blogged about Tom Felton appearing on “MOD”], wrote about how eager she was for both the new “Harry Potter” flick and Tom Felton to finally arrive in Canada. In the post, she comments about several members of the “Harry Potter” cast. Here’s what she had to say about Tom Felton’s and his musical ability:

Tom Felton sings! And he isn’t the worst at it! His songs are actually rather adorable and sweet. Who would have thought the evil boy had it in him?

She links to two of Tom Felton’s youtube videos: Time Well Spent Medley and If You Could Be Anywhere.

If you are able to watch “Much On Demand,” be sure to catch it at 5PM EST on July 8th. Yes! that IS two days away!

As always, if you can record and/or upload the video please email us at Feltbeats: Feltbeats@feltbeats.com or misha@feltbeats.com.
