What’s old is new again: Random ‘bits of Tom Felton from the Web

Tom with a fan in Paris

As news heats up for the release of Tom’s latest adventure as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, random Tom related goodness from past events and appearances have been fighting their way to the surface.

“Don’t forget about us!” they cried.

Really, how could we resist such a passionate plea?

From Feltbeats Reporter Estrella89san, we have a few videos with this first one dating back to 2004. Since neither of us had ever seen it, we thought you may not have, too.

The next two videos are quite a bit more recent than our young and impressionable Tom of above. First up is a short video from Paris from Reuters.

This next one comes to us from Daily Motion, and I find it quite amusing. It’s quite long and edited as if it were a short film, so Tom appears a few times. It, too, is also from his sojourn in Paris.

In a bizarre twist of being in two places at once, Fence Post.com had Tom participating in a Dirt Tour last week when he was tweeting about being onset for his next great adventure as Draco. Don’t worry, we checked. This was some other Tom Felton. 😉

And now that our journey has brought us back to present day, this is just a friendly reminder to those of you in London about Tom’s appearance at the iTunes Festival. If you remember, we posted about his opportunity just the other day after he tweeted about it.

While I’m keen on my twittering…I’m going to the iTunes festival at the Roundhouse Sat night…Having a little interview there..

They asked me if I wanted to play the guitar….major deliberations…too many amazing musicians around me to have the courage I’m thinking.

If any more news from tonight’s appearance comes our way, Feltbeats.com will let you know.

In new interview, Dan Radcliffe calls Tom Felton “really good friend”

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) calls Tom Felton a “really good friend.”

He proceeds to tell me the people he “absolutely loves” on set: Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, and Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger. “They are, to all intents and purposes, my brother and sister.” Are they all best friends? “Probably not, only because we don’t see each other out of filming. But someone like Tom Felton, who plays Malfoy, I’d count among my really good friends. I went to the cricket with him on Sunday.”

Indeed, we know from Tom’s Twitter account that he and Jade have actually gone to cricket with Dan on a few occasions!

Here is a picture of Dan during one of those matches (ICC Twenty20 World Cup match between England and Pakistan at The Brit Oval on June 7, 2009 in London, England). Tom and Jade are sitting next to him – in fact, those are probably Tom’s hands at the bottom of the picture.

Earier today HBO aired a long preview of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” The preview includes an extended scene of Draco on the Hogwarts Express, Draco at Slughorn’s party, and, in the second video (below), more footage from the Astronomy Tower than we’ve ever seen before! Tom Felton is his name, another video is the game.

A video from Dose.ca has surfaced of Tom at the Harry Potter tour truck even in Leicester Square, London. We’ve already heard the quotes from this video concerning the imminent release of the latest HP film, but it’s very nice quality and worth it just to watch Tom and the rest of the gang (James and Oliver Phelps, Matt Lewis, and producer David Heyman) on camera even if they did spell Tom’s name wrong.
